Our 4-star DTV apartment "Zum Torfstecher" is located in a listed Eifel farmhouse, which was first mentioned in a document in 1793. With its low rooms, the apartment has its own cozy and very cozy atmosphere. By restoring the old clay plaster walls, the rooms have a perfect indoor climate.

Surrender to the charm of the "good old days" and enjoy the rustic cosiness without giving up modern equipment!

The apartment is located in a central but quiet location in Monschau-Mützenich and yet in the middle of the countryside in a cul-de-sac without through traffic. The house is surrounded by pastures and an over 100 year old beech hedge.

The Vennbahn bike path and many sights are in the immediate vicinity. Monschau and the Eifel National Park are only a few minutes away by car. The ideal starting point for hikers and nature lovers!

Herrlich, uralt und ganz modern

Die FeWo „Torfstecher“ ist die gemütlichste, die ich bisher gesehen habe. Wir haben die Ruhe und die vielen tollen Wege rund um Mützenich sehr genossen. Einzig die original erhaltenen, uralten Eichenbalken an der Decke haben das eine oder andere „Aua“ produziert. Also: Nichts für Leute ab 1,80 m aufwärts. Wer achtsam durchs Haus geht, kann aber einen tollen Urlaub verbringen, weil alles da ist, was man braucht. Vielen Dank an die sehr freundliche Vermieterin!

Tolle Ferienwohnung und sehr nette Vermieter

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Vermieter (Familie Völl) sind sehr nett und die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön und schon fast ein Ferienhaus. Wir hatten zu viert jede Menge Platz und das alte Gebäude hat Charme. Trotz des Alters des Hauses war es für moderne Ansprüche sehr gut geeignet. Das Bad war top, in der Küche, im Bad und in der Wohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben die Ruhe und die schöne Aussicht genossen und saßen bei schönem Wetter sehr gerne unter dem Buchenbogen. Nur aufgrund der niedrigen Deckenhöhe sollten Leute, die größer als 1,80 m sind, aufpassen. Ansonsten alles tippitoppi :-) Diverse Wanderwege und Ausflugsziel le sind in der Nähe, und auch Nahversorgung und Restaurants.

Very pleasant stay

Ever since the arrival we felt at home. Very charming surroundings and location. There were everything we needed for a good stay and we really enjoyed it.
