Westport Sand Lake is known for its great bass and walleye/pickerel fishing, great swimming and has a beautiful public beach!

This cottage has 4 bedrooms, a patio door leading to the deck just steps to the lake, and dock with great swimming and fishing! Fantastic views of the lake from this cottage and deck!

The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping, restaurants, and lots more! The cottage is just minutes into the quaint town of Westport with shopping and restaurants, and only 2 minutes from the Rideau Lakes Golf Course.

This cottage is conveniently located near the town of Westport, the halfway point between Toronto and Montreal, 45 minutes from the Canada/USA border, and only one hour and 25 minutes from central Ottawa; a great place for extended families to congregate. Westport is a popular tourist town with festivals, two golf courses, many shops, restaurants, a winery, and a great fireworks show that can be viewed from the cottage!
