A rustic vacation in the "barn"

If you’re looking for a rustic holiday in the countryside, you’ve come to the right place! The top floor of a converted barn is the perfect spot to unwind. Whether you’re a couple or a family, you can enjoy an idyllic countryside getaway here. In addition to dogs and cats, the farm is also home to chickens and a flock of sheep.
In addition to numerous hiking opportunities, the surrounding area offers swimming at the Venusberg outdoor pool (5 km), the Greifenstein reservoir (15 km), many museums, castles (Augustusburg, Scharfenstein Castle, etc.), and cultural landmarks (St. Anne’s Church, Saigerhütte), visitor mines (Ehrenfriedersdorf, Frohnau), as well as theatres in Annaberg and Chemnitz. In the summer, performances are held at the famous “Greifensteine” open-air theatre.
In 25 minutes, you can reach Chemnitz, the “City of Modernity,” with its excellent shopping opportunities and outstanding cultural offerings. A trip to Bohemia is also worthwhile, where a visit to Karlovy Vary is particularly recommended.
