We stayed a month in this large, roomy home. The lake view from screen porch is so relaxing & wonderful for morning coffee, reading a book during the day, and watching ducks/sand hill cranes on the water. Great location. Close to I-4. We explored several restaurants, grocery stores & shopping so close.House was very clean. Beds are great! Enjoyed kitchen island with seating. Host was extremely easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again!
Our visit to Longwood was rather sudden as my wife's 102 yo father came down with pneumonia and Covid-19 while in a rehab center, ended up in hospital ICU. We (wife, BIL, & SIL) were facing a lot of stress. There was an initial issue with the A/C, no one could have worked harder or faster than Dana to get it corrected, it was repaired within a day.As mentioned earlier we were under a great deal of stress, the home provided a fantastic respite from our problems and a fantastic place to recuperate. It is in a great neighborhood and an extremely relaxing setting. The screened porch overlooking the lake proved to be just the place we needed to relax over meals and hold discussions about what action to take next.I wish to thank Dana for all her consideration and kindnesses. We will be back in the Longwood area and hope the home will be available for our future visits.
We stayed at Dana’s house for a month and really enjoyed it. There was plenty of room and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking gear. It’s on a nice quiet street away from a lot of traffic. Dana always got back to us with any questions right away. Will stay here again.
The house was in an easy location for my family and I. The lake was beautiful to see in the mornings and all of the wildlife made for quite the show. Birds everywhere! Thank you for allowing us to use your home.
Our family absolutely loved our stay at Dana's property. It was beautiful, peaceful, very comfortable, roomy, & a great location. Dana was a pleasure to work with & made things very easy. We're hoping this property is available when we make our next trip to Florida.
We couldn’t have been happier with Dana’s property. The perfect mix of peaceful, but short drive to everything.

An oasis near our favorite bike paths
We very much enjoyed the hottest Feb. in FL history. Although the property is in the middle of suburbia, the setting on the lake made this an oasis for us. We are nature lovers, into photography and wildlife and were graced with some new sightings, a pair of sand hill crane chicks, and a lake that changed colors with the time of day and the light breezes. We entertained some family and the design of master bedroom on one side of the great room and the guest quarters on the other worked well.
Dana was easy to work with and met all our needs.

The back deck makes the house
This house is located off a main thoroughfare in Longwood in a suburban neighborhood. It backs up to a lake. We loved the back deck, being able to sit out there and watch the birds and enjoy the sun. Our dog loved it as well.
The house is nice. The kitchen is well outfitted, including things like a crockpot. Lots of counter space. The bedrooms were nice and the master has lots of storage space. The only thing we had not realized is that the garage was not included in the rental, so your car must remain outside.
We had a problem with the heating our first night and Dana got a repairman out there the same day we called. She was very responsive to our needs.

Everything is here, just right!!
We fully enjoyed our month long stay. The homeowner is the "Best", this home has lots of space, plenty of extras a "Great Lake View". It is also located close to everything including I-4. I would love to return again next year!

Spacious inside, great view outside!
Though the property is as attractive as shown in the listing, what you can't appreciate until you're there is the wonderful sense of openness. The listing photos present individual areas of the house, but not the spaciousness resulting from the entirely open floor plan in the main part of the house (apart from the bedrooms) and from the upward-sloping ceiling. That openness extends visually to the rear: The listing shows a few views of the lake but, again, can't convey the glorious morning feeling of walking out of the master bedroom and seeing the lake and sky -- and all the birds! -- through two wide glass doors and two equally wide adjacent glass panels. We'll be back for a third visit next year.

Lovely Home
This was a beautiful home on a small lake in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. We loved waking up to the sounds of Florida birds including sandhill cranes, ibis, storks, herons and ducks that visited us every day. We walked the neighborhood daily and were greeted by friendly residents throughout. The house is well laid out and easy to maintain. It's within walking distance of an Asian farmer's market and large supermarket. There is easy access to the freeway to several FL attractions. Two small maintenance issues were dealt with quickly by the owner. We had two dinners during the month with a large number of family and had seating for everyone on the lanai and in the kitchen and dining room. We loved our visit to Florida and would highly recommend this property. Thank you.

Lake oasis
Everything was as stated in the description. The house was well appointed and the "extras" such as grill, pancake griddle, fire pit, and fishing poles were really nice. The owner was easy to work with and easily accessible for the one question we had. The location was super convenient to restaurants, grocery and I-4.
We never did find a blow dryer or a broom if they were there.
We would recommend this place and would stay there again.
