This unit was great for our stay in Washington. The hosts were kind and polite and guided us through everything we needed for our stay. The unit did get a little warm in the hot afternoon sun but the cold waters left in the fridge were great!

This carriage house was above and beyond what we expected. Great kind owners and their dog Blue is friendly. He does like to chase squirrels which was entertaining. The location is in town with the waterfront and many shops and restaurants. But it wouldn’t have been as enjoyable had we not stayed at this carriage house. Thank you do much Keith and Gayle! And Blue too!

The carriage house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just a short walk from the heart of downtown Washington. Mornings are peaceful here—while afternoons and evenings invite an easy stroll to the waterfront, local shops, and casual dining spots.

Downtown Washington has a relaxed, small-town coastal feel, with scenic views along the riverwalk, locally owned restaurants, and a welcoming pace that encourages you to slow down and enjoy your surroundings.

What we enjoy most is the balance—you can park your car and walk to everything, yet return to a quiet, private space to unwind.
