Elevate your vacation rental experience with this exclusive "Hawaiian Modern Architecture" luxury villa in Poipu's premier resort neighborhood, Kiahuna Golf Village, less than a mile from the best beaches and restaurants of Poipu Beach. This exceptionally private, one third acre, tropical paradise fronts the Kiahuna Golf Course and captures the wide blue ocean views and lush greenery of Kauai from almost every room. The rental of this property is managed by owner, John Ferrante, and does not charge property manager fees seen in many other property listings.

Property Location:

Under a mile from the ocean and Poipu Beach Park and shoreline boardwalks, and Poipu Shopping Village with island-theme boutiques and galleries, Starbuck's Coffee; Keoki's Paradise, Pietro's Pizza; art galleries; a general store with many basic groceries

The upscale "Shops at Kukui'ula" are 1.5 miles away with a Roy's restaurant, Merriman's, Bubba's burgers, Lappert's ice cream and coffee, Tommy Bahama store and many boutiques, restaurants, live music and an excellent gourmet "farmers" market event each week.

Villa is not child-proof and there is no barrier immediately surrounding the swimming pool which could pose a danger to young children.

• Two security cameras on the garage monitor the two front driveways, however for your privacy there are no additional security cameras on property.

Property Management and Cleaning:
On-island property manager, Lea, will be an extra resource in addition to owner to answer any questions regarding the home operation.

We use Kauai Green Cleaning Services exclusively, an experienced and professional long term Kauai company. Please be assured that our enhanced cleaning procedures and cleaning crew members follow and exceed the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) guidelines.

Wonderful Vacation

Our family of 4 had a wonderful vacation stay at John's home! Our kids loved the big pool especially at sunset as we watched the sun go down over the golf course. The home was very comfortable, and we loved the decor and layout. Most of our time was spent on the backyard patio swimming and eating our meals at sundown. We vacation in Hawaii every year and this one of the best vacation homes we have every stayed in. Our experience was a 10 out of 10! Thank you!

This home was absolute paradise! It was beautiful, comfortable, and the owners thought of everything! We enjoyed the spacious and stunning indoor decor and the outside was just as beautiful! Quiet and convenient location

This place is a gem, close to everything and not far from the beach. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and the owners have anticipated all your needs- including beach towels, boogie boards, pool wants, beach chairs etc. The kitchen is well appointed. The location is quiet, pool is amazing and bigger than we had expected. We had a amazing family vacation here and the host always responded very quickly and friendly.

Perfect Home and Location for our Group of Three Couples

Never wanted to leave

The property was perfect. Truly. The indoor space was laid out so well that there was plenty of space to spread out and view the beautiful outdoors. The house is stocked with everything you didn’t even know you’d want: kitchen had every appliance and cooking was a pleasure with so much space. The outdoor space was the icing. We ate every meal at the gorgeous outdoor table, and alternated between the lounge chairs and pool all day long. The backyard is private yet open with a beautiful view. Communication with John was seamless and he was responsive to all my questions. The only downside was I was unmotivated to explore because I didn’t want to leave the house! Would definitely stay there again if I can again get to Kauai.

Amazing home!

This home is absolutely amazing! It was everything we expected (from the description and photos), and more. The manicured landscaping and lagoon-like pool are gorgeous. The yard is large and quite private with a view across the golf course all the way to the ocean. The home is light, spacious, decorated tastefully with wonderful Hawaiian art everywhere, and has a kitchen with everything you could possibly need to make a gourmet dinner or just a simple breakfast. We found the king beds in the upstairs en-suite bedrooms very comfortable, and we slept well. We did not use the downstairs queen bed. There are fans everywhere and the afternoon breeze kept the home a comfortable temperature. There is AC if you need it. We were there in early January and had perfect weather! John is a very nice, responsive host and he got back to us quickly when we texted him about anything. You won’t be sorry if you rent this beautiful home. I hope we can go back one day. A perfect Stay

We were so appreciative of the Aloha Hospitality we experienced in renting this home. A beautiful home on a beautiful island. John is perhaps one of the best “weekly landlords” that we have ever worked with, having rented at least 50 villas around the world over the years. From the initial email exchange, John provided clear and prompt replies to all of our planning questions, pre-arrival, and all the way through our departure. He has thought of all the information his guests will need and shared some prior to our stay, and then left ample instructions in the home for operations of the A/V, automated window blinds, washer/dryer, etc. all to make for a stress free and seamless vacation experience. As for the home, as others have said, truly surpasses the posted images and descriptions. The soft goods were all high end and what impressed us the most was how clean the home was upon arrival with not a spot of dust found on any of the hard surfaces including the beautiful hardwoods…spotless! The home included everything you would need, both inside and out. We were just two, and there were sitting areas of the home that we did not even use, but clearly a home that could be enjoyed by families or friends that would allow for privacy when need be. The location was perfect for our week, allowing us a great base to touch every part of the island, and then appreciating coming home each day to our own oasis complete with a lagoon pool and water effect. Second stay at this beautiful home

My family just wrapped up a 9 day stay over Thanksgiving. This was our second time staying at John's house. The home is so welcoming and John is a wonderful host. He checked in on us throughout the stay. We enjoyed the pool, yard games, and the kitchen. We have a chef in our family and he found everything he needed in the kitchen! I'll definitely be back:).

Happily returning to stay again

Our family of 5 ( 2 parents and 3 adult kids) have stayed in this gorgeous home three times in the past 5 years and each time has been our favorite vacation. The house has a lovely traditional Hawaian feel and is designed to take advantage of the daily breezes that flow through the home and keep the temperatures comfortable. There is air conditioning available but we only used it briefly at night to cool the bedrooms. The private pool, stunning views and delightful lanai make it hard to leave the house but when we did venture out, we were pleased to remember how close we were to snorkeling and swimming beaches, and lots of restaurants and shops . We tried to return each day in time to watch the sun set over the ocean from the rocking chairs on the lawn- while enjoying a yummy tropical beverage. John and Ed have filled this gracious home with beautiful Hawaiian art and equipped the gourmet kitchen with everything needed to make memorable meals together. They are responsive and gracious hosts who are terrifically easy to work with. We will return as soon as we can because this lovely home and surrounding property is one of our very favorite places.

Why they chose this property

Kiahuna Golf Village is considered to be one of the most beautiful neighborhoods on the South shore of Kauai. The mature tropical landscaping, estate sized parcels, and privacy between homes lends itself to a unique vacation for you and your family in a truly Hawaiian paradise environment. This particular home is on one of the largest lots in Kiahuna Golf Village, with an estate sized presence. The home was designed by the famous architecture firm of Vladmir Ossipoff (1907-1998), an American architect best known for his Hawaiian Mid-Century Modern works all over Hawaii. Ossipoff has been called "the master of Hawaiian Modern architecture" and the premier designer of kama'aina-style residences in Honolulu. Most of the rooms have very large glass windows and oversized glass sliding doors from floor to ceiling, facing the large green belt golf course open space surrounded by plumeria and palm trees with the ever-blue Hawaiian ocean in the distance. Jalousie windows are on the opposing walls in every room which provide cool breezes to flow through each room day and night. Most of our guests are pleasantly surprised that this air flow design renders very little need for air conditioning and gives you a true tropical living experience. You will spend most of your time outdoors on the spacious lanais stepping in and out of the large tropical pool swimming past the lava rock waterfall. The home, grounds, and pool were completely remodeled and restored maintaining the integrity of the original architectural period design and materials. You will love this property. As many of our guest reviews confirm, "This is not your average vacation rental experience!"

What makes this property unique

Kiahuna Golf Village is in the center of the Kiahuna golf course just 3/4 mile from the ocean and from the best restaurants and beaches of Poipu. Many guests have described the location of our neighborhood as perfect given the close proximity to everything the Poipu has to offer, but far enough away from the tourist area to be personal and relaxing. We think the sunny south shore of Kauai is the optimal location to base your Kauai vacation with central and easy access to Lihue, the West and the North Shore.
