This top floor 1 bed 1 bath condo offers some of the most stunning sunsets from your very own private balcony. The Apollo Condominium is located on the South tip of Marco Island. The views are absolutely stunning! Enjoy all the amenities the Apollo offers, sauna, fitness room, tennis, spa, heated pool and the popular on-site Sunset Grille! Only a few other buildings on the entire Marco Island beach has a walk-up restaurant/bar, those being the hotels.

The Apollo was nominated in 2015 by Trip Advisor, the highly regarded Traveler's Award Certificate of Excellence! This award winning building provides an unreal experience for all guests that visit.

Marco Island is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, located on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. It has been described as Magical, Mystical and Alluring. Great Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I had a great rental experience. The photos match the rental unit, and the location is the best. We used the pool a lot and took a lot of walks along the beach. The unit comes with beach/pool towels which is amazing, and it comes with supplies needed for the beach (ex. chairs, frisbee, etc.) My suggestions is that there are better directions for the key usage for Apollo as it was confusing at first how to use the keys. Also, closing the storm doors on the balcony is helpful when it rains so it doesn’t get the balcony all wet. There was coffee there, but I’m not sure if it’s always there or someone’s leftovers. So, if you are a coffee drinker, you may need to BYOB along with dish soap. The pans are scratched up pretty bad. I assume it’s because they (the rental company) provides you with a metal pancake flipper/spatula and not a wooden/black rubber one which is the type you need for the pans. Overall, AMAZING experience. We really enjoyed being able to drink our coffee in the morning and see the ocean. Would recommend!!!!!!!

Beautiful View

I loved the view and location for beach walks. The couch in living area is new and lovely. The condo just needs a owners tlc. Linen closet inside biew all old mish mash of bathroom linen and beach towels. The beach towels were at least 20 years old and worn out. The beach chairs looked ok but were covered with sand and stuffed in a closet. Bedroom closet was cluttered with old bed linen and old hangers. These little things would cost very little to improve looks. The balcony furniture was soiled. For the price I would not stay here again.

Wonderful location and view!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have rented condos in a number of destinations through VRBO, AirBNB, etc. Most recently on a couple of Hawaiian Islands and Palm Coast, FL. All of our experiences have been very good.For the money we spent on the Marco Island unit, I would have to say that it was just adequate with many simple upgrades could have gone a long way.Specifically, the towels were absolutely threadbare and stained. The management company advised that there would be a limited supply of trash bags and toilet paper but ONE of each was a bit sparse, we thought. There was a 1" x 2" hotel bar of soap next to the sink that was in a package but completely crumpled inside. Fortunately, we travel with adequate soaps, etc.We were asked to wash the dishes before we left the condo and there was also only ONE Cascade pod left in the bag.Beach towels were also very old and thread bear but we did appreciate that the owners left 2 beach chairs, and umbrella and two noodles.Dishes were very mis-matched, as was the silverware and knives. The "sharp" knives were unbelievably dull.The bed was extremely comfortable, and the sheets very nice. The easy chair in the living room had stains all over the seat.There was a decorative clock that apparently hung in the kitchen, but it was not working and on the floor propped against the wall. There was a bare nail in the kitchen and I believe the clock's hanger might have been damaged.We cannot, however, complain one bit about the amazing view from the condo! Top ten for sure!The condo building itself was dated but the staff very nice. The Sunset Grill is a diamond in the rough with excellent staff and outstanding food!Pool area was nothing special.

We found your location first and were going to go on to lunch but decided we'd inquire since we were there. She was alone in the office with no other clients.

The condo was clean and upgrades were nice. New kitchen and bath. Lacking ceiling fans and lighting insufficient in bedroom. Plenty of beach chairs but no cart or wagon to pull them to the beach. Sofa and chair could be upgraded. Need more beach towels.

Great Week on Marco Island

All was as advertised with this listing. It is on a great location on the Island with a wonderful beach. Sea shelling was really good the week in January we were there. Two small items that should be noted, the HVAC unit in one of the neighboring units is noticeably loud in the bedroom at night. The other small issue was the TV in the Living Room did not have cable, only the one in the bedroom. These were very small issues, and did not damper our stay much, but I thought I would mention them. Overall, it was a wonderful week and we would probably book this unit again.

8th trip to Marco

You can’t go wrong with Marco Island. We love going here. First time at the Apollo. It is right next to public access. It does get a little crowded. The unit was smaller than we like. A little dated. What got me was a big dump that was left in the toilet. Funny how these property management companies charge you enormous cleaning fees and this is what you get. Not to mention the TV is never worked. Not that were there to watch TV but obviously no one checked this unit before we got in the patio furniture needs thrown in the trash it was disgusting

Marvelous Marco

Marco is absolutely stunning! We love staying there! The condo we stayed in was sufficient. They had some nice upgrades but needed so extra love. The king bed was horrible, we did not sleep well most of week. The fan in bathroom was so dirty, we were surprised it worked. Towel rods need secured. Overlooking that, the views were stunning & sunsets spectacular. A little love & this gem would shine.

Fabulous view from Beachfront Penthouse

It was ideally situated on a beautiful beach and we were able to enjoy morning walks and evening sunsets. We made use of the kitchen facilities for breakfast and dinner although the cooking facilities were somewhat limited. The crockery and glassware need replacing. The doors to the balcony were difficult to open. Overall in our view if a few hundred dollars were spent on it, it would improve the quality and enjoyment of the stay.
