This property should not be a VRBO property. The only redeeming feature was the Mountain View. Issues included the sliding glass door that could only be opened by a very strong adult male, the bathroom door that couldn’t close all the way, the hole in the deck covered by loose 2x4’s, the drains clogged with hair, the ice maker in the main fridge that doesn’t work, the breaker that needed to be reset to get the WiFi to work, A/C that didn’t work in the upper bedroom, the unpleasant path to the hot tub, the garbage thrown in the yard, etc, etc. I would never had rented the house if these issues would have been known.

The sliding glass door is heavy, but there's nothing wrong with it. My 5'1" 120 girlfriend can open it.
The main floor guest bathroom door has a note on it saying you cannot close it the last 1", as it will come off the track.
There is no hole in the deck, there is a soft spot which will be repaired this weekend. Two 2' long 2x4's were place over it temporarily for safety.
I wasn't aware of clogged drains; I'll find them and clean them.
The cleaner said they reset the breaker before guests arrived. Apparently they got the wrong one. For crying out loud, it's just a tripped breaker!
When guests reported the top floor A/C wasn't working, I drove 2 hours to the house the next day to install a large portable A/C. They made no complaints about that.
Beyond me what they mean by an unpleasant path to the hot tub. There are 4 new stone steps.
It seems like this guest was just looking for anything they could complain about.
About the host
Hosted by Dave Olsen
I'm your host, Dave. I've travelled the world including 7 months on a tandem bicycle in Europe, and raising my daughter on an ocean going catamaran circumnavigating the Caribbean. I love sharing my home and my stories with guests. However, I won't be on site when you are here, the place is all yours!
Why they chose this property
I like to say that one a clear day you can see all the way to Wyoming! My house is only 10 minutes from north Boulder, 20 minutes to downtown, yet you get to experience the best of mountain living with magnificent views, clean air, and clean water from the 580' well.
What makes this property unique
The views just don't end, and star gazing at night is spectacular. You have a strong chance of deer, turkey, and fox wandering through the yard. If you're really lucky you'll see a black bear. Don't worry, they just want food! On extremely rare occasions, a mountain lion. Stay away from all wildlife please!
