Proudly located in Uptown Maumee this cottage features special touches from a design pro. This 2br 1 bath features approx 1,000sf. There is also a large fenced in yard for pets & a screened in patio.

Enter into the spacious living room w/ vaulted ceiling & picture window overlooking the spacious yard. The living room features a Queen sleeper sofa & side chair- new for 2025 65' inch Smart tv. Use our Sling TV account (like basic cable) or use your streaming accounts, coffee tables and end tables with lamp.

The eat in kitchen has so much charm! There are ample kitchen utensils for cooking, as well as full sized electric stove, and refrigerator/freezer. There is a butcher block bar top for seating w/ 3 swivel chairs. Off of the kitchen is a 3 season light filled enclosed porch. It features a 2 seater bistro table, perfect for morning coffee.

BR #1 has a King sized bed w/ memory foam mattress, closet w/ hangers, dresser, night stands w/ lamp and full length mirror.

This room also has a work space. There is speedy Wifi at 600mbps if you are working remotely.

BR #2 has a full sized bed w/ memory foam mattress, dresser, night stands w/ lamp. This bedroom has a walk in closet with a laundry basket & hangers.

The yard is large and fenced in, there is a door off of br #2 for ease of letting pets out.

We have a Keurig coffee maker & Brita pitcher in the fridge, ice maker in the freezer and a tea kettle.


The bathroom is off the kitchen and has a tub/shower combo, toilitries & full sized mirror. Our bath towels are freshly laundered. Feel free to help yourself to any toiletries. There is a blowdryer, iron & ironing board.

This cottage is walkable to Uptown Maumee, The Maumee River & Sidecut Park.

Our home is professionally cleaned after each guest, we try to keep the cleaning costs as low as possible while maintaining a high standard of clean, we never require guests to do dishes/laundry but it is helpful if the outgoing guest starts these since many of our incoming guests ask to check in early.

Because some bookings are back to back, it can be difficult to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs. If you need additional time in the home please consider booking an extra day. If our cleaner completes the clean early we do our best to notify the incoming guest that they can check in early.

By booking our home you agree to not smoke anywhere on property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, vaping and E-Cig. Furthermore, you understand that if you or any guests are confirmed to have smoked a $250 fee will be imposed.

By booking our home and bringing pets you agree to be a responsible pet owner and follow all local leash laws. You agree to pick up after your pet and understand that a $100 fee will be imposed if it is confirmed that your pet had accidents in the home or was not picked up after. You agree to pay for any pet damages.

Please keep in mind that staying at an VRBO is different than a hotel. We stand by our home being less costly than a local hotel room while accommodating more people and being pet friendly. We ask that guests be kind when it comes to leaving reviews. VRBO reviews of 4 stars or less can result in the listing getting kicked off of the platform. We are open to honest feedback. Guests are provided with a direct maintenance number should maintenance be needed during a stay. An info sheet is also located at the property near the front door.

Information regarding check-in, check-out, access & wifi instructions can be found in the VRBO App under the "trips" section. Since VRBO discourages communication outside of the platform we ask that our personal cell phones are used for emergency purposes only.

By booking our home you accept our cancellation policy stated in the listing. VRBO offers guests travel insurance for an additional fee. Thank you for not asking us for a refund due to a cancellation made on your end.

The cottage is on your right hand side. It is single story, gray siding w/ a yellow door.
Use the smart lock to access - Keyless, controlled entry.
The gravel driveway/parking pad has room for up to 4 vehicles.

Guest access
This home is private, no one else will be onsite.

Other things to note
Historic Charm! Our cottage is located off of Ford street. There is a gravel alley, the home is on the right hand side.. Please look for directional sign by the mailbox. There is room for 4 cars in the gravel lot.
