Place is a dump. Holes in the deck. Furnishings don't match pictures. Carpenter Bee are horrendous. Bbq grill area doesn't work is rusty and disgusting. . Snakes going in and out of hottub. Electrical covers missing. Stuffed animals everywhere. Deck by hottub had skeletons and dolls nailed to wall.the wall.
This cabin has it all! My best friend and I were celebrating our 40th birthday's the week before Christmas at this cabin and we could not have had a better time! The moment we pulled up, the house was fully decorated with Christmas lights outside, Christmas knickknacks and a Christmas tree inside. There was even Christmas music playing and a Christmassy aroma when you came through the door. The sights, sounds and scents really hit all the right notes, especially for 2 Christmas-loving girls looking to enjoy a week in the smoky mountains. The entire cabin was decorated with so many cute ornaments, it felt like we found something new to ooh and ahh over every day. We spent lots of time in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, but we thoroughly enjoyed every moment in this cabin. The wrap around deck with a spa - which comes with a neat disco ball you can turn on at night - which don't worry, you're on the top of a little mountain on your own so you won't disturb any neighbors, just adds to the fun you can have at this special place. We loved taking in the views from the second floor patio with our morning coffee, which is decorated with comfy couches and blankets to ward off the cooler temperatures. All I can say is this cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We were far enough away to feel the peace & tranquility you can only get from visiting the mountains, yet close enough for a 15 minute drive to Pigeon Forge where all the action is. We hope to return to this cabin again in 2025!
For our stay we wanted a pet friendly cabin that would be like home to us. This cabin was perfect for us and our dogs. Highly recommend for pet families!
We loved staying here. The only thing to be concerned with was the driveway up to the property is very steep and narrow, with a 90 degree turn halfway up. Basically have to hammer the accelerator all the way up. The cabin is cozy, with great views, and was very clean with plenty of room for our family of 4 and two dogs.
Nice cabin but not as expected.
+ Very clean
+ Hot tub was nice
+ Well stocked kitchen
- Dirt road to access cabin
- Very steep driveway (recommend 4WD especially if possible rain, snow or ice)
- Pictures need to be updated for current decor
- Futon is not a sleeper sofa
- Sleeps 6 not accurate with futon
- Good communication with owner but you should not have to call to get door access and wifi password
We tried through Vrbo and private message to contact Steve and no response from him. Upon arrival one of the sinks had grit and a hugh clump of either longhaired cat hair or longhaired dog hair in it. There was cat food and some kind of stickers on the floor in the kitchen and living room, cat food was on the floor.which I cleaned up. We list Wi-Fi the second day and couldn’t reach Steven, I called to leave a message on his phone and the voicemail was full. So I sent email to find out where router was so I could reset, received no response. Other than that it is a nice quiet place to vacation.
I had a great stay at the cabin! It was tucked away in a quiet, peaceful spot- perfect for a relaxing getaway, though it's a bit of a drive from restaurants. It was clean and well-kept, with fun amenities like axe-throwing and a cozy hammock. The gated porch was a thoughtful touch, especially for those with kids and dogs. Just a heads up: bring beach towels for the jacuzzi, and the driveway can be tricky to navigate. A bonus highlight was seeing cows along the drive, which added to the charm!
It was the best place I ever stayed at in Tennessee. I loved the privacy and the tv outside that you could set in hot tub and watch. The best were so comfy.
Over all, very happy with our stay here. The only thing we didn't like was the very steep driveway with a 90 degree right turn three quarters of the way up. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed our stay.
We totally enjoyed Our stay, we would definitely come back again. It was an amazing place. Decorations were amazing. Everything was so clean. Beds were super comfortable. We would definitely come back again.
The whole place was super clean. We loved our vacation at the cabin. Driveway was a lil steep was our only nit pick. We would definitely stay there again.
Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook, bake. Porch was fun with music, tv, hot tub, outdoor lights & my favorite..the swing. Beautiful scenery!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
MIDDLE OF NOWHERE
Property was nice, but cluttered with alot of nick nics and fake florals. Location was too far away and you definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to the cabin...which should be stated, just in case someone comes in a car. Overall the place was clean, living room was tiny, and not alot of area to take the dog out. Communication with the host was great. Unfortunately the place is just too far out for us.
Nice cabin over all .The road is a little rough getting back into the cabin ,and the hill to the cabin is very steep. It's about a 20 minute drive on a few curvy roads before getting to the main roads .
It was a little farther from town than I quotient liked but that was fine. The road getting to the driveway was washed out so I wouldn’t even try to go in a small or low car. The driveway going up the cabin needs repaired with the wheel ruts in the broken asphalt. The outside area and porch was nice. There was alot of dog hair if you have allergies.
Absolutely loved the cabin! It was veru peaceful and private. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The patio up stairs was great for unwinding at the end of a long day.
Pleased with cleanliness and functions inside the cabin. Pleasing interior decor and furnishings. Plenty of hot water for showers.
Didnt use jacuzzi tub and could only use hot tub once due to leaks.
Front and upper balcony are great for enjoying your coffee or drinks. Comforable chairs on the porch would make it perfect.
Nice deck in back with small fire pit. Did not use during our 4 day stay.
We visit this area yearly and have yet to find a place to be our contabt for one reason or another, this came close though! The cabin is smaller than we have been use to. There are 2 floors with the upper completely open. Firepit, outdoor deck area overlooking nothing but the mountains behind. Only reason we could even see other cabins out the front was the bare trees. No need for firewood, nature supplied. Small sitting area by lower TV, didn't bother us, there to disconnect anyway. The decor is really unique and tactfully done. Even the kids commented how cool things were.
The kitchen was a highlight for us. I love when owners allow left behinds. Consider it fully stocked, spices, utensils, cookware, even blenders and a french press! Fridge had basic condiments too. LOVE how convenient this was for us, we cook, not go out to eat! Cost savings as well.
The loft...absolute best sitting area was the upstairs outside loft ❤️ Again, thoughtfully and tastefully done for a morning, mid, or evening rest.
Beds were firm but comfortable, pillows soft. Internet was a little rough, we stream but, our goal was to detach so not bothered.
Sadly the hot tub did not work nor indoor fireplace, appeared to be out of propane. Tried to use the tub upsairs but hot water didn't last enough to fill. The owner was very responsive and felt horrible. Understand things are sometimes uncontrolled, he did best he could, it was a weekend stay, no one came. Hope to try again in the future!
My husband and I just recently stayed in this cabin for Christmas and when I say I teared up when we walked in, I really did. Steven had this cabin decorated so beautifully for the season. The bedrooms were beautiful. Everything was perfect. The view from the loft bedroom was my favorite and the balcony porch off of the loft. Hot tub was great. My husband spent most of his time on the porch, which he loved. I highly recommend this cabin. You will not be disappointed. I do, however, think if there were more than 2-3 people it could be crowded.

I am a contractor and do home remodeling and own a couple rental properties. I spent some vacation time here in the smoky mountains and loved it so much I decided to purchase a cabin here. I have put a great deal of money, time, and effort to make this cabin very nice clean and cozy for my guest. I also spend time here and enjoy this location very much.
Why they chose this property
I searched for a year before I found this cabin and I loved the privacy and convenience of its location. It is a quiet retreat with beautiful mountain views. I am looking to buy another one in the near future. The smoky mountains is such a beautiful area. I love this place !
What makes this property unique
I truly enjoy sitting and having my coffee on the upstairs balcony and watch the sun rise when I stay here. It is just so nice spring, summer, fall and winter here.
