We loved our stay at Ann’s cabin in Essex! We appreciated the easy communication before and during our trip along with being able to store our bags before check in. It was also super easy to get here on the train with an Amtrak stop in Essex as we did a car-free vacation in Glacier National Park. Before check in, we hiked the Scalplock Fire Lookout trail which was a great workout before a nice overnight cabin stay. After backpacking earlier in the week, this was a real treat to stay here with comfortable beds, multiple living areas/patios, great kitchen, and laundry. We would love to stay again some day!

Perfect for our group of 4 adults and two children. The home has a well-stocked kitchen. The location off of Hwy 2 in Essex was very quiet. The access to the east side of Glacier park was great. Our first night we had an early dinner then drove to Two Medicine. The next day we drove GTTSR from east to west with no waiting in a line to get in to the park.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting our son. It was perfect! Plenty of space, very clean, excellent communication. We had one minor issue and the owners responded quickly to help get it resolved. We would highly recommend this place and hope to be back!
