The Space:

This three-bedroom, two-bath duplex-style townhome sits across from Purgatory Resort and offers a comfortable mountain base for families and groups. Guests have access to the resort's complimentary ski shuttle rather than direct ski-in/ski-out access. The home is near Twilight Lake and the Purgatory Flats Trailhead, with hiking, biking, fishing, paddleboarding, skiing, and resort activities nearby. The home does not have air conditioning; cool mountain evenings provide natural ventilation.



Guest Access:

Guest access is completely automated and will be sent via email & text message 7 days prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Black Bear is located across from Purgatory Resort in Colorado's San Juan Mountains, about 25 miles north of downtown Durango. Twilight Lake is approximately a two-minute walk away, and the Purgatory Flats Trailhead and year-round resort activities are nearby.



Getting Around:

A vehicle is recommended for travel to Durango and surrounding attractions. For ski access, use Purgatory Resort's complimentary shuttle to the lifts; this home is near the resort but is not ski-in/ski-out.



Other Things to Note:

A mandatory 4% Purgatory Resort fee is included in the quote. An optional additional 4% provides access to the Durango Mountain Club, including the heated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and fitness facility.



PAYMENT SCHEDULE: For direct reservations processed by Modern VRM, $300 is due at booking and is applied to the reservation total; 50% of the reservation total is due 60 days before check-in; and the remaining balance is due 30 days before check-in. For reservations collected by an OTA, the payment schedule shown by that channel at checkout controls.



CANCELLATIONS: The cancellation policy displayed by your booking channel at checkout and in your reservation confirmation applies. Please review those terms before booking.
