Private cabin on pristine lake with prize fishing!

Get away from the hustle of every-day life and unwind in this totally private and peaceful cabin with modern amenities. The enchanted cabin overlooks Big Mantrap lake, a prize-fishing lake. The space is completely private and has its own dock. Mantrap allows very limited development, so you'll only see people if that's what you want! Your only noticeable neighbors are across the lake. The cabin and property are the perfect spot if your goal is the total peace and quiet of the northwoods, or if you're more active and want to take advantage of the pristine waters of Big Mantrap for water sports or big time fishing. Typical fishing experiences include Muskie, Northern Pike, and Bass (among others). The cabin is perched up high and near the end of a peninsula at the mouth of a calm and quiet fishing cove (known as a prime fishing spot)!

Why they chose this property

Big Mantrap Lake is a coveted lake at the top of the Mantrap chain. The water has amazing clarity, and it provides abundant fishing. County restrictions provide for only very limited building, so it's private and quiet almost all of the time. The property itself sits on the northern end of the lake and far away from areas with more cabins and population. Big Mantrap is specially designated as a protection zone for the Loon. You'll awaken to their song and be treated with new families playing in front of the dock every summer. It truly is enchanted!

What makes this property unique

This land has been in our family since the 1950s, and this cabin is roughly 20 years old. It's an incredibly special place away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Our family enjoys everything from relaxing in the quiet or fishing for a prized Northern Pike or Muskie. The cabin sits in a great ski cove, and is set up perfectly for water sports behind a speed boat. It also limits the waves on windy days being in a cove if you prefer paddleboarding or kayaking. In other words, however you relax, this property and Big Mantrap lake will accommodate you! We hope you'll cherish it as much as we have for generations!
