About the host

Hi there,
I’d love to share a little about myself. I’m a proud Oregonian, born and raised in this beautiful state that I’m lucky enough to still call home. Life has been an incredible journey, especially with my two amazing kids, who are now grown, and my four wonderful grandsons—ages 16, 7, 5, and 4—who keep things fun, lively, and full of love.
For the past 26 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the school district, supporting students with special needs. It’s truly been more than just a job for me—it’s something I care deeply about and feel grateful to be part of every day.
When I’m not working, I cherish spending time with my big, close-knit family and dear friends. Our annual family reunions are always a highlight—we’ve shared so many great adventures, from zip-lining and hiking in Montana to boating and white water rafting. And here at home in Oregon, we love making the most of the outdoors, especially anything involving the water.
All in all, I feel really fortunate—my life is filled with family, meaningful work, and plenty of adventure along the way.
Warmly,
Dianna

Why they chose this property
Hi there,
Choosing this home was a mix of happy chance and a lot of heart. It sits right on the edge between the county and the city—so I like to joke that I get the best of both worlds.😊 What started as renting here for five years slowly turned into something more—I completely fell in love with the house, the neighborhood, and especially the people in it.
From day one, the neighbors made me feel welcome, and that feeling has never faded. Even after all these years, it still feels just as special as when I first arrived.
One of my favorite parts is the big backyard. It’s been such a joy watching my grandkids run through the sprinklers, splash in the pool, and play their hearts out. Being on a quiet dead-end street makes it even better—it’s safe, peaceful, and perfect for bike rides and little adventures.
This home has truly been filled with love, laughter, and so many special memories. It’s a place where family comes together, and those moments mean everything to me.
Warmly,
Dianna

What makes this property unique
Hi there,
To me, this home has always been so much more than just a house—it’s a place filled with love, intention, and so many special family memories. Choosing it as a place to spend time with my grandsons was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The quiet, private street and the big half-acre backyard have given them the perfect space to run, play, and just be kids, while I get to enjoy the peace and calm that comes with it.
I’ve always loved how tucked away it feels, with plenty of space and no close neighbors—it really makes it easy to relax and unwind. One of the little features I especially appreciate is the private entrance to the master bedroom. It gives guests that extra sense of comfort and privacy, almost like having their own little retreat. And the carport is a simple but thoughtful touch, keeping everyone dry and comfortable no matter the weather.
Over the years, I’ve put a lot of care into updating and refreshing the rooms to make them as welcoming as possible. Hosting means a lot to me—I’ve added personal touches and put in plenty of elbow grease to create a space that feels warm, comfortable, and somewhere I’d truly enjoy staying myself.
More than anything, this home is a place where memories are made, and where I hope everyone who visits feels genuinely welcomed and cared for.
