Stayed here with my brother for three nights, while visiting the Normandy/D-Day beaches. Very close to Omaha beach and its various features. If you’re not there for the beaches, it’s also a good location in terms of road access to Bayeux and Arromamches-Sur-Mer if you have a car, but not sure about public transport. The property itself is lovely, a mix of historic feel and location, but modern facilities and accommodation. We self-catered and found everything we needed. Superb, thank you!

Beautifull house!

Our stay at your house was great! The inside as well as the outside! Inside: 2 bedrooms, enough livingspace, well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, magnetron. A washingmachine. Outside: a beautifull and quiet garden, outside chairs, a table and beach umbrella. Near the beach! And also near WW2 memorials. We had a great time! Thanks!

Runter kommen!

Bin mit meiner Frau ( beide Ü60 aber noch in Arbeit 😉) zum entspannen in die Normandie gefahren! Super nette Besitzerin die uns in allen Belangen sehr gut weiter geholfen hat. Tolles Häuschen, sauber ,schön eingerichtet, uns hat es an nichts gemangelt. Zum Wandern,Radfahrern und faulenzen hervorragend geeignet. Können uns sehr gut vorstellen nochmal diesen Pavillon zu mieten!

Ein sehr schönes, gemütliches Ferienhaus mit guter Raumaufteilung und Ausstattung. Wir hatten angenehme 2 Wochen und würden unseren Urlaub jederzeit wieder hier verbringen !!! Das Bad ist in Relation zu den anderen Räumen, eher etwas klein - aber ansonsten war alles perfekt.

Idealer Urlaubsort - wenn man von falscher Beschreibung absieht

+ super Anbindung an die Fahrradwege nach Port-en-Bessin und zum Omaha Beach + Sauber + Heizgeräte - Teller & Tassen abgeschlagen und nicht passend - bei Ankunft war Bettbezug nicht vorhanden. Erfreulicherweise hat die Vermieterin direkt angerufen und wir durfen uns im Waschhaus selber versorgen; dennoch ernüchternd am ersten Anreiseabend - Handwerker, der jeden Tag morgens, mittags und nachmittags über den Hof mit Schotter ca. jeweils 10-15x hin und her lief, um seine Gerätschaften zum anliegenden Gebäude und den dortigen Maßnahmen brachte (Umbaumaßnahmen waren aber aber i.W. geräuscharm) - 500m zum Strand ist irreführend. Es handelt sich um eine Bucht, die bei Flut einfach nur mit Meer gefüllt ist und bei Ebbe ist dort der "Strand" das Watt. Insofern 500m zu einer Bucht ja, zum Strand, nein - Der Garten ist offenbar (??!!) zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung, denn auf dem Hof steht neben diesem Haus noch ein weiteres Haus mit zwei Wohnungen (quasi eine Doppelhaushälfte), die über einen Weg an unserem Haus vorbei Zugang zum Garten haben. In der Beschreibung ist nicht einmal die Rede von weiteren Häusern und Wohnungen oder einer gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung des Gartens. Wir hätten uns definitiv nicht für dieses Ferienhaus entschieden, wenn wir gewusst hätten, dass wir mit weiteren zwei Häusern und deren deutschen Ferienurlaubern am Urlaubsort sind - Für die Bewohner aller Häuser (in unserem Fall in der ersten Woche 6 und in der zweiten Woche 8 Personen) gibt es genau einen Wäscheständer, der bei uns nach ein paar Tagen schlicht irgendwo verschwunden ist - zudem gibt es genau 2 Grille für die drei Häuser. Den Grill, den wir genommen haben, wurde uns einfach weggenommen und benutzt als wir unterwegs, obwohl der andere unbenutzt in der Kammer stand. Wir "durften" dann auf den anderen ausweichen. Beide Grille sind in Ordnung, daher ist fraglich, was der Sinn war - das WLAN funktionierte ab der Mitte der 2. Woche nicht. Einfluss nehmen konnten wir darauf nicht, da der Router in einer der anderen Doppelhaushäften stand. Der Empfang ist aber ohnehin und trotz Repeater schlecht, weil er eben über den Hof und die Wände gehen muss. - Bitte zudem beachten, dass es hier keine Küchenfotos gibt. Liegt wohl daran, dass es sich eher um eine Kochnische handelt. Die war aber für die Zeit ausreichend. Erstaunlich aber, dass genau die Fotos fehlen - Auf dem ersten Foto des Inserats ist übrigens der Tisch mit den Stühlen irreführend; diese gehören nicht zu diesem Haus

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit genug Platz für eine 5köpfige Familie. Ein toller Garten und eine wunderschöne Umgebung. Fußweg zum Strand nur 10 Minuten.

Schöne Ferienwohnung. Nicht riesengroß, aber für uns 4 völlig ausreichend und mit großem Garten. Der kleine hübsche Strand in St. Honorine ist nicht weit und wenig besucht.

Petite propriété très sympathique pour deux adultes (un peu juste pour 4 adultes...). La maison est très bien situé pour découvrir les plages du débarquement, Cherbourg, Bayeux et Caen... Un seul petit regret... la cuisine est très petite! J.D.

Bien situé et poele agréable

Tout s'est bien passé. On y dort très bien avec une literie confortable. Le gîte est à 12 min à pieds de la plage. Le poêle réchauffe les soirées d'hiver :) Attention : prévoir du papier toilettes (fin de rouleau) et se connecter au WifiExtender pour le gîte de droite car la data est quasi inexistante.
