The Milan Stone House is situated in a quiet location in a small fishing village called Jovići in the Zadar region of Northern Dalmatia, offering a beautiful panoramic view of the Velebit Mountains and the Adriatic Sea. The garden features a private pool with a magnificent 360-degree view of the house, the garden, or the Velebit Mountains. Next to the pool, you can relax on one of four sun loungers, top up your tan, or even watch the unique sunset from a terrace with a lounge area. If you need a quick refreshment, a shower is available next to the pool. The garden also features two covered pergola terraces that you can enjoy after grilling and cooking delicious fish or meat (which you can get fresh from local vendors in the area) on a convenient gas grill. Private parking is also available, so you can always keep an eye on your husband’s favourite toy. The Milan Stone House is furnished in a rustic-modern style. Inside the house, there is a bedroom with a double bed, two loft areas (each sleeping 2 people), a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a combined kitchen, living room, and dining room. The living room features a TV with multiple channels and a pull-out corner sofa. Air conditioning and internet access are, of course, also included. The kitchen is equipped with a built-in dishwasher and washing machine. From the dining table, you have a magnificent view of the Velebit Mountains. The beach is about 900 metres from the house. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy excellent dining, participate in water sports, hike in the Velebit Mountains, and marvel at the views. Adrenaline junkies will find plenty to enjoy, including bungee jumping off the Maslenica Bridge, parasailing, and more. Foodies can visit nearby vineyards and wine cellars, whose fine wines were served at the recent inauguration of US President Biden. Private family farms offer guided tours where you can sample local specialities. Nature lovers have several national parks in the immediate vicinity, such as Starigrad-Paklenica National Park, which lies directly across from Jovići. Krka National Park is an hour’s drive away, and the enchanting Plitvice Lakes are an hour and a half away. On the Zrmanja River (approx. 30 min), you can enjoy a wonderful canoe trip while taking in the views of the Zrmanja Canyon, which gained worldwide fame through Karl May’s “Winnetou” films. If you enjoy strolling through small, picturesque alleys, the Old Town of Zadar (approx. 25 min) is the ideal place. For partygoers, the famous Zrće beach on the island of Pag is about an hour away. The Steinhaus Milan—or rather, the village of Jovići—is centrally located and has something for everyone right in the immediate vicinity.
