We live in Dallas with our children, and much of our extended family lives in Illinois near Nauvoo. Over the years, we found ourselves visiting so often that we decided to purchase a home here to spend more time together in this beautiful and peaceful city. When we are not using the home ourselves, we enjoy sharing it so other families can experience Nauvoo the way we do. We love spending time outdoors, exploring the area, and making simple family memories. Hosting allows us to help others create those same meaningful moments together.

Why they chose this property

We chose this location because of its proximity to the Nauvoo Temple and Historic Nauvoo sites, while still offering a quiet residential setting. Many restaurants and shops are just a 3 to 5 minute walk away, and the Nauvoo Temple is approximately a 10 minute walk from the home. You can easily explore town on foot and return to a calm, comfortable space to relax. There is also a well stocked Dollar General right next door, making it convenient to grab groceries, essentials, or last minute items during your stay.
