A very nice historic place filled with antiques, but comfortable nonetheless. Modern appliances in great condition. Wonderful location, not far from downtown Milton.
The house was fantastic and met the owners father while staying in the home. I had several problems with the VRBO site - I was given a link and it kept taking me back to the VRBO site - never did get that resolved. Also did not like that I had to put up 1k hold on my card. I’ve rented many places and have never had that request before.
We stayed four nights in this beautifully restored 1840's home. This was a family reunion of sorts with two sisters each with a grown daughter. The four of us completely enjoyed ourselves in this quaint little town of Milton. There is a grocery store very close to stock up and cook meals if you so choose. The kitchen with all its charm has everything you need. We found a wonderful little ice cream shop within a short walk. The beaches are not far away; Milton is just away from all the crowds. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well for us as we stayed in July when the temperatures were very warm. The tiny town has a volunteer fire department so there is a siren from time to time that will get your attention. Besides that, the town is rather quiet. There is a lovely swing on the front porch to enjoy. The history provided on the renovation of this home is outstanding. It is very impressive how beautifully detailed the home is. We all would highly recommend this property and would enjoy staying there again.
