Great location for us. Easy to get to Pike’s Peak, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. The house is a little quirky but very comfortable for our group. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio in the evening to visit.
Excellent central location and views. accommodations could use a minor update to bathroom door locks and smoke alarms added. Clean house, accommodated 10 of us very comfortably. Will stay here again. Highly recommended.
This place is wonderful. It's big enough to comfortably accommodate a large group and cozy enough for everyone to be able to get to know each other better. The property has wonderful views of the mountains, especially from the hot tub.
The only bummer was that the ac unit wasn't working, but there were several fans available so it wasn't actually an issue.
I would definitely stay here again in the future!
The house had a cottage feel. Needs some upgrades in the house as things were not working, like the ice maker, a stove, and the hot tub. It was a good location for what we were doing around the area.

Interesting place
The house is in a great location with a really nice view. The house is in need of some TLC but overall worked out well for our large group. We were slightly concerned when the roof started to leak upstairs with all the weather we experienced during our stay.
Huge!! . Everyone had their own space. Very comfortable and casual. Great for a family, furniture was older and didn't feel like we had to put coasters under drinks. Only issue was that a door to get downstairs was really stuck and we struggled to get it open. Thank you for your hospitality.

Most of the rooms were cleaned. Bathrooms had hair and rubberbands from previous guest on the floor. Neither of the BBQs did not work. Plenty of room for large family. Mold issues in basement and master bedroom. When it rained on our last night. Water poured into the bathroom through window roof area. Beautiful views. Location is perfect. Furniture needs cleaned. Smells bad. Too many neighboring dogs visit the property and poop in the yard. Doors did not close. Mini blinds fell off windows. Nice stay. But really could use some TLC before renting to others.
Location was awesome!! Very close to everything we wanted to do. Fantastic views from the walk-on rooftop, decks, and hot tub. We even saw a bear and deer early in the morning. Backyard fire pit great for s ’mores.
Older home could use some minor repairs (nothing major), but it was a great value overall. The upstairs unit was fine for family members with accessibility needs. Everyone in our large family gathering, had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

We are glad that you had a good time. Thank you for leaving our house nice and clean.
Really loved this location and the rustic, earthy feel of this property. It’s an older home and has some issues due to its age, could do with some minor repairs, but overall we loved this place. The hot tub was clean and well maintained, the fire pit was great, the view amazing. Rooms were as advertised, beds were comfy, plenty of towels. It you’re looking for the Ritz experience this isn’t for you, but if you want a legitimate mountain vacation I would recommend this property. Dan was responsive and stopped by one day to introduce himself. We will definitely return.

The inside of the house was pretty run down. Yard was not as neat as photos showed. Beds were really uncomfortable. House was NOT handicap-friendly at all. The hot tub & fireplace worked. My expectations were too high. Overall, the house was fine.

Stay in Colo springs
Overall impression is that the property needs some attention. First impression on arrival is yard is unkept- front door jams are all nicked up. Upon entry to house the dining room has water puddles of over 5 feet width. Roof leaks when it rains. We cleaned up water and informed owner. “It leaks when it rains”. We set out bowls to catch drips and they stayed there all week. Wall under window is peeling stucco off due to wetness. Unit downstairs had water inside patio doors and back bedroom carpet is wet and mold in corner on wall. We did not use downstairs. Door jams throughout house need painted. Could be a nice property but as is - it’s not.
The property on Vrbo was no were close to the actual property. We were not able to use 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. Need serious updates. This property has multiple stories and with the cracks in the walls and floors we felt very unsafe. Save your money and find another place.

Everyone else seems to be able to use the bedrooms and bathrooms without a problem. The house only has two levels. The main level only has one step up from parking and entire main level has solid wood floors. Basement has some carpet. The house has been around a lot longer than Ann. I guess that bothers her. Maybe she would feel safer at the Holdiay Inn.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Bike Lodge! We had 6 in our party so had plenty of bed space & overall very spacious house. The outdoor area was nice & private. Our only complaints would be the fact that several appliances really need updated. The downstairs dryer didn’t work & the upstairs dryer worked sporadically. The hot tub wasn’t running the first day & suddenly was running day two...unfortunately we only got about an hour in it as we had plans elsewhere the rest of the week.
The owners were great to work with & answered our calls and txts to help us get the dryer going.
Would recommend bringing along a fan for upstairs rooms as they were a bit warm overnight.
Overall really enjoyed the property!!

Shari and her group were great guests, they left the house clean. The dryer were fixed, thank you for letting us know the problem.
House is on a quiet cul de sac and is very close to the Interstate. The house is basically split into two houses...one upstairs and one downstairs. We only used the top section so I can not speak to the bottom level. The top level was spacious and very clean. It has a cool little garden and we saw several deer hanging out!
Pros: location near interstate, view of the mountains and sunrise, clean, plenty of screened windows for fresh air, easy to check in and out, access to washer and dryer.
Cons: if you are a light sleeper, you can hear train horns at night (did not bother me), mattresses could use updating, it gets pretty warm inside during the day (did not bother us because we were gone during the day and it cooled off quickly at night)
Overall, I rate this as a 4 star experience. If the mattresses were updated, I would give it a 4.5 due to some people may want a cooler temp house during the summer months. I would stay here again.
We had a great time. My daughter, her husband and granddaughter had the downstairs apartment and we had the upstairs. Fully equipped. We used the fire pit often and the hot tub. Great location to visit the sights. Great view of Pikes Peak and other mountains
The house was big enough to accommodate our family of 12, which is about the ONLY good thing I can say about the property. We had read the reviews and it seemed that the biggest problem everyone faced was the lack of air conditioning in the house. I inquired about this ahead of time as we had two in our group with asthma and heat really makes it difficult for them to breathe. The owner assured me that a new, bigger air conditioner was installed and we would be happy with it. That was the furthest thing from the truth. The unit may have actually been new, but it in no way could have cooled all of the house! There is three rooms upstairs and the only area it kept cool was the dining room and living room. We had to purchase portable air conditioners on our own just to make it comfortable enough to sleep. The basement was hot as well and if the portable air had not been purchased, part of our family would have been sleeping upstairs on our own purchased air mattresses. The description of the house says it will sleep 14, so you would naturally think that there would be enough towels and wash clothes to handle 14 people. There was NOT enough to accommodate our group and there was ONE wash cloth. Additionally, it rained during our stay and the roof leaked in several places. One place being right on top of the TV in the living room! The owner came by after it had rained and let us know that he was aware of the leaks! What? You know about the leaks and have not had them fixed? I don’t understand, why rent it out with all of these problems? The beds were anything but comfortable; they were so old that when you slept in them with your partner, you ended up in the middle of the bed because that is how well worn the beds were. When the owner stopped by, we addressed these issues with him and he seemed unconcerned with anything we had to say. The bottom line is, I would stay ANYWHERE else besides here. I absolutely would NOT recommend this property to ANYONE!
We had a great time. The house was exactly as listed. It did get a little hot in the house at times. Great place to stay.
