Cute, centrally located, and convenient. Some of the amenities were not instantly intuitive (for instance, the light fixtures and air conditioning), but the host was gracious and responsive. All in all, this was a very cozy and pleasant respite from the stress of visiting my family!

About the host
Hosted by federico jose
I’m a finance professional and a frequent traveler who has spent a lot of time in rentals around the world. Whether I’m traveling for work or for a safari in South Africa, I’ve learned that the best stays are the ones where the host has thought of the small things. I enjoy hosting because it allows me to provide that same level of comfort and reliability for others.
Why they chose this property
Dogtown is one of St. Louis’ most historic and vibrant neighborhoods. I chose this area because it perfectly balances a charming, local feel with incredible accessibility. It’s famous for its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and its 'main street' vibe along Tamm Avenue, which is lined with great Irish pubs and local eateries. You’re also right on the edge of Forest Park—one of the largest urban parks in the country—home to the Zoo, Art Museum, and endless trails. It’s the kind of place where you can feel like a local the moment you step outside.
What makes this property unique
This single-family home offers a level of privacy and space you won’t find in a standard apartment or hotel. It’s been curated to provide a modern, 'city-professional' comfort while maintaining the classic St. Louis architectural charm. Whether you’re in town for a weekend at the Zoo, a business trip, or visiting local hospitals, 1326 Kraft provides a quiet, residential retreat that’s still only minutes away from the Central West End and Downtown. It’s a true home-away-from-home designed for travelers who value both style and convenience.
