This cabin was beautiful, clean and close to town. The wi does allowed us to look out and see some wildlife.

Truly a perfect place for a weekend get away. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed being walking distance to the main strip and no one could resist the hot tub.

Property is a little older but functional. Needs to be stocked with few more basic needs, ie trash bages for kitchen can, scrubbers to clean pans, some basic cleaning supplies, ect. Temps outside were abnormally warm causing living room and upstairs areas to be quite warm in afternoon/evening. We were visited by 4 bears upon arrival..that box we got to check off first thing. Location was very convenient. Close to everything but not right in the downtown. Had room to park four cars.

Cabin was clean but ac was not working well. Active activity with smaller bear(s) almost every morning and evening. Space is as described. Cons:AC was not working correctly and cabin temps were mid 80s most days. Temps would go down overnight but were uncomfortable during the daytime. Called rental team about it but was advised that they were aware and to set thermostat to 69 otherwise the condenser would freeze up. Road to the cabin is a steep road with curves. I would change there rental description to include 4x4 is necessary if bring a trailer. Without a trailer, most vehicles would be ok. The website for the owner portal had the option to request an earlier check in request which then directs you to call the office after 12. We did so but was informed that the portal communication was not accurate and they cannot confirm early check in due to housekeeping pending release. No one came to the rental between our call and normal check it but the portal did not release the check in option until the designated check in time so everything has already been completed with the rental prior to our call.

We understand how frustrating that was. Your point about the steep road and trailer access is really valuable. We also apologize for the confusion with early check-in through the portal. That is something VRBO puts into their information, we generally don't allow for early check in. We do hope you still were able to enjoy your time in the area.
