Cozy upstairs loft with 1-bedroom and bath in adorable Kansas City home

Your home away from home in Kansas City with 1 bedroom, 3/4 bathroom, dining space, and living room with TV. This space is located on the second floor of my home and features a cozy queen bed and a large living room space with a futon, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and a large L shaped desk if you plan to stay put and work. Guests will enjoy a clean bathroom with a refreshing shower (no tub), along with their own heating / AC to keep the space comfortable year-round. Whether you’re unwinding or catching up on some rest, this enjoyable spot offers a welcoming atmosphere. My private upstairs loft will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Kansas City for the World Cup. To clarify, you do enter my home to access this space and it does not have a kitchen but does have a microwave, large dorm refrigerator, coffee maker and eating utensils for 4 people.

This was very nice place to stay. The host was very responsive to messages and even made the Futon it a bed before we arrived.

I am glad Philip and his family enjoyed their stay but sorry to hear they did not love it. I tried answering all of their questions as quickly and accurately as I could, but I know they were a little concerned about having to enter my home to get to the loft and that there was not a kitchen. I thought my posting explained this, but I have taken the feedback to make it more explicit so future guests are not surprised. Thank you for your stay and the feedback.

Host was extremely responsive and proactive. Storm caused power outage in neighborhood during my stay and they routinely provided updates and also provided a generator for some power.Property was very clean and neighborhood was nice. Also included workstation to work from home as needed. Overall, very good value for the price and within driving distance of downtown.

This is the best of any in home rental we've experienced. I hate to say this because I hope to stay here a lot more, and hope it's available when we want!!A very comfortable, clean, spacious, and well -furnished apartment. Automatic lights everywhere, so you don't need a nightlight. The owner is very friendly and helpful, though we really didn't need anything extra from him. The neighborhood is quiet, just a few minutes away from shopping, restaurants, and just a few more to major attractions, colleges, and the free streetcar to Crown Center and downtown. On street parking in a quiet neighborhood, only approachable from the north, so traffic is minimal. The shower is small. There. That shows no place is perfect. But that's our only complaint. You will love staying here! Just make sure it's not when WE want to be here.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback and I do acknowledge the shower is small so it is very fair and good for future guests who are staying when Steve and his wife are not as they would be welcomed anytime they would like to visit.
