Everything about the condo was as described. Very clean and very nice! The bed was absolutely amazing as well. You can’t beat the views, worth it for that. The only negative part to the trip is not necessarily about the condo, but the beach. I’ve been to Perdido Key about 12 times over the years and have stayed at Beach Colony multiple times. I’ve never been told to stay behind a marked line when setting up on the beach. I was always able to secure a spot by the water. However they set up the beach service chairs from end to end, literally right next to eachother, 3 rows deep and you are now allowed by any means to setup beside or in front of them, regardless of how much you paid to stay there which in our case, was multiple thousands. We traveled 14 hours with a toddler for the beach and we couldn’t enjoy it. If you want a view by the water, you have to go to a public beach. Otherwise you’re near the back by the dunes where it’s sweltering hot which was miserable for our 2 year old. Unfortunately we will be staying somewhere else next year with a private beach where you don’t have to sit there with your view of the beach being blocked by tons of people using beach service chairs. Loved the condo, but if you want a good beach and water front setup, you’re better off going to Cape San Blas or somewhere else. Took a chance at Perdido after calling cape San blas our beach spot, needless to say I think we will continue with CSB in the future. Amazing condo though!
