You have a cosy 3-room apartment in the best location, for 2 to 5 people. The building is part of the famous Palais Palfi on a peaceful side street, between Hofburg and Graben, in the middle of the historical centre of Vienna. In the 1st district, the ideal starting point for your city tours! The pedestrian zone of the inner city, the famous Kärtnerstraße and the graves with their large selection of restaurants, cafes and shops are in front of the house door. The environment invites you to combine culinary and cultural delicacies. Spend your stay in a 60 m2 high quality and fully-equipped three-room apartment, on the 1st floor with a lift, cosy and full of charm, absolutely peaceful on a side street located on an inner courtyard. Arrival / infrastructure: By subway or bus, the apartment is 10 minutes from the west train station, from the airport with the direct train and subway 30 minutes. The airport shuttle bus brings you comfortably from the airport to Ringstrasse. Bus / subway (subway station Stephansplatz) / tramway and taxi stand are nearby and will bring you to all attractions in the inner city like the Schönbrunn castle, 'Hundred Water House', the world famous Prater with carousel, to Grinzing with its famous wines, the 'Heurigen'. Parking options and garages nearby. A car is not necessary.

Shopping and groceries: The unforgettable selection in the Viennese inner city with restaurants, 'Beisln' and the famous coffee houses are available for you. Great location

This apartment was in easy walking distance of all the sites in old town Vienna. There were also many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Check in was easy and the layout suited our family of 4, including 2 teenage children.

Location, location, location!!

This was a very cute and spacious apartment that is perfectly located and walkable to all the sites and Xmas markets, and trains, etc. There is even an elevator so you don’t have to haul your luggage up stairs. Super clean with comfortable beds. I would stay here again for sure. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay in this excellently appointed flat in the perfect location for walking to all we wanted to see. Owner has clearly thought through the details to make this apartment exactly what travelers are looking for. Vienna adventure

Excellent location in the heart of the city, Hofburg palace a stones throw away. Horse drawn carrigaes outside your window and many great restaurants and activities within walking distance. A real plus is the washing machine in the unit. Perfect, would highly recommend and stay again when in town.

Hofburg area apartment

The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring the Old Town. Everything is within walking distance, or close to public transportation for a short ride to the outer palaces and other attractions. We were very comfortable and would return.

Vienna magnificence

We stayed at Jill‘s property in Vienna, and we were absolutely thrilled as the location and set up of the home perfect for our needs. We are two couples in our 60s and everything we were wanting was outside the front door with shops and sites only a short stroll away. The set up of the unit was perfect for enabling us to cook and to wash during our stay.

Wel appointed apartment in an ideal location

A great location in a vintage apartment building near the Hofburg. Everything you need and most places you will visit are a short, pleasant walk away. Well located near transit for excursions farther afield. Beds are comfortable, apartment is bright and airy and the kitchen is small but serviceable with a dishwasher. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and comfortable

Worked well for our family of five. Pull out coach was plenty comfortable for our 9 year old. Two older kids slept on twin beds. This was great for sleeping and quick breakfasts in the morning (or for lunch) before touring Vienna. Sleeping arrangements were quiet and comfortable.

A multi generational adventure.

As a Austrian born Oma the week with my daughter and teenage granddaughter in Vienna could not have been more pleasurable. Contributing to our enjoyment was the ideal apartment close to all of the venues of interest to us. Everything from museums, opera, churches, restaurants and the wealth of Hofburg experiences were within easy walking distance. The apartment itself was clean and well appointed with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. I would gladly return with more teenage grandchildren in tow! Thank you for helping to make our week a memorable one.

Great location - Terrible Communication

Overall, our stay was good. As with previous guests' comments, the check-in communication was terrible and late. I had to send a request the day of check-in while traveling by train from Prague. When I finally got the check-in instructions, they were in German. I requested the instructions to be sent again in English, but no reply (ever). I had to copy and paste into my notes and translate them myself. Apart from the terrible communication of the host, the apartment was very comfortable and in a prime location. We walked or rode the metro and trams everywhere. There was a great grocery store about 3 blocks away and several good restaurants and cafes on the actual street and in Stephansplatz and Michealsplatz areas. Bring your own shampoo, body wash, etc. There are no extra amenities or welcome treats here. The toaster didn't work properly. The Wi-Fi was SUPER SLOW. But there were plenty of dishwasher pods and laundry detergent available. Also, plenty of towels and bedding available. I'd stay here again just because of the location! If you walk down the street you can see the Lipizzaner horses in their stables!

Great Location. Poor communication with owner

The property is just as described in listing. Great location close to sights. Surprised at how quiet the unit was but still in the middle of everything. Only problem was communication with owner. VRBO listing says receive check in information 3 days in advance. When I did not receive I sent a message to the owner. No response. 2 days before check in sent another message both through VRBO and WhatsApp. No response in 6 hours. Sent more messages through VRBO and WhatsApp. Still no response. Called VRBO and received another number to contact. No initial response. Then finally a message saying I would receive check in information 1 day before check in. The day before check in still no check in information. At 1600 the day before check in I sent more messages through VRBO and WhatsApp. Received a message they would send check in information soon. Finally received information and everything went OK from that point on. Could have had no issues if owner had replied to any of the messages saying that the listing was incorrect and would send check in information 24 hours in advance. I was already in Europe from the USA and worried about not having a place to stay over New Years Eve spending time on my vacation searching for another place to stay. Glad it worked out but communication is important and caused unnecessary stress.

Disappointed!!

We were able to communicate with property manager before we arrived —until we (fully paid) arrived. Then we were “ghosted” We could not reach her at any number we had or online “help” number. Frustrating texts and attempted calls. After traveling all day, We had trouble getting in - her note was not clear on button to push and when we tried, several times it didn’t work. Finally worked. Other questions we had about how things worked were not responded to…like where extra things were like toilet paper. The bathroom shower light was not working and we had very dim light above sink…and no soap at sink. Had questions about how shower worked - again could not reach anyone. It was very dark. Television instructions did not work! So no TV Their “instructions” Sheet very brief! The apartment pictures online were clearly taken after they renovated in 2005! Very old dated uncomfortable furnishings…couch especially… Kitchen had remnants of last people — we had to remove coffee capsules and empty coffee machine bin…before we could buy coffee and use it. Mold in washing machine door seal, detergent tray… Not one paper towel or napkin to be had! 2 thin bath towels and 2 hand towels for 5 nights - 7 days - no extra available ? We could wash them but they would never dry on their own by next day! Overall disappointing. The location and space was the only positive!

Es war ein herrlicher Urlaub. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt.

Eine Wohnung, in der man sich sehr wohl fühlen kann. Die Lage mitten in der Stadt ist optimal. Wir hatten nur bei der Ankunft ein kleines Problem: Wir standen vor der Haustür und wussten nicht, welche Schelle zu der Wohnung gehörte.

Großartige Ferienwohnung in traumhafter Lage

Die Ferienwohnung liegt mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße, einen Katzensprung vom Stephansdom entfernt. Ein kleiner Supermarkt befindet sich gleich um die Ecke. Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Wohnung sind sehr gut. Für einen Kurzurlaub in Wien wärmstens zu empfehlen.

The best stay!

If I ever visit Vienna again, I would definitely rent this apartment. It is located in the historical, tourist zone and prestigious area of Vienna. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked so we chose to eat all our breakfasts in the house. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of towels, extra sheets and beddings. There are two grocery store and several bakeries few minutes away from the apartment. I totally recommend it.

Location is perfect

The apartment is very comfortable for a family of 4 adults. It was clean and had the basic necessities in the kitchen. The owner responded quickly to my emails. The location is perfect. Close to museums, the Hofburg, Stephansdom, the U-Bahn. Lots of restaurants and good window shopping.
