Beautifully restored historic property! Elegant rooms, spacious layout, beautifully decorated. Lovely natural setting. Perfect for our family reunion gathering! Danielle responded in very timely fashion, and was a most gracious host.

The house is beautifully appointed. We had 4 couples staying there and there was plenty of room for socializing. The patio seating for 8 was a nice addition! It’s a great home base for kayaking the Upper Iowa River and biking around Decorah. The only suggestion would be window coverings in the first floor bathroom.

I would like to clarify that the first floor bathroom window is on the back of the house that no one accesses and a steep hill is just 10 feet from the window. So neither the public or other guests look into the window. There is total privacy.
