About this property

Cedar & Stone Retreat

Cedar & Stone Retreat is a spacious Driftless getaway near Decorah, perfect for groups looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy time together. The home comfortably sleeps up to 13 guests and features multiple living spaces, scenic views, and easy access to outdoor adventures.

The space
Enjoy close proximity to Twin Springs Park (just down the road for walking, exploring, or a refreshing cold plunge) and the beloved Twin Springs Supper Club — a local favorite for classic Midwest dining with steaks, seafood, and a full bar.

The home comfortably sleeps up to 13 guests (not including infants or toddlers using pack ’n plays) and includes:

• King primary suite with attached bath
• California king bedroom
• Queen bedroom
• Group-friendly bedroom with four twin beds, plus a Super Nintendo, Nintendo Switch, and children’s books
• Basement living room with a full-size sleeper sofa and twin sleeper
• Toys and books available for younger guests

Inside, you’ll find inviting living areas, fireplaces, scenic views, a premium coffee bar, and plenty of space to gather or unwind after a day exploring the Driftless region.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home.

Entry is through the garage using a unique keypad code, leading into the lower level. From there, a flight of stairs leads up to the main living area.

Please note: driving up the hill beyond the main driveway is not permitted.

Other things to note
Cedar & Stone Retreat is located in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by nature. Guests may experience wildlife, insects, and limited exterior lighting at night — all part of the quiet Driftless experience.

Please note: We’re currently reseeding the front lawn this spring, so the yard may be muddy or unusable during April and May. Indoor spaces, views, and outdoor seating areas are fully available and ready to enjoy.

Driveway & Access

The home sits on a hill with a sloped driveway. During winter or snowy conditions, all-wheel or 4-wheel drive is recommended. Parking is available in the large circular driveway.

Safety note

The property includes a retaining wall with a height drop and is not fenced. Children should be supervised at all times.

We are not located on-site but are always available by message and respond quickly.

Families

We love hosting families and provide Pack ’n Plays, a high chair, toys, and books. While the home is family-friendly, it is not fully child-proofed, so children should be supervised.
