Christmas Vacation

We had a wonderful time here. The entry into the house was a little difficult. The key sticks but we found the home to be perfect for our family to hang out after walking at the Christmas markets. Neighborhood is adorable to stroll through.

Frustrated guests

Unfortunately, we cannot review this as a pleasant stay. The communication with the host was difficult. Clear check in instructions were not sent. I texted the host and didn’t get a reply, called and no answer. She did finally answer on my second phone call. We reserved this home for a party of 8, however there were only 4 towels provided for showers. The middle floor bathroom shower didn’t drain and we had to constantly turn off the shower to keep it from overflowing all over the floor. The hot water tank must be very small, as we ran out of hot water after 1 shower. When you reserve a house large enough for a large group of people, you would expect to get a least 3 showers minimum on one tank of hot water. Unfortunately, our stay was not pleasant. I did text the host during our stay about the hot water situation (we thought maybe the hot water heater went out) and she called me back right away. So, I will say she was very quick to respond to that text message. However, the only option she gave was to wait an hour for it to reheat. This was around 10 pm at night (we didn’t arrive until around 9 pm). Therefore, it was not feasible for us to wait an hour between everyone’s shower for our group of 8 people (even with 4 showering night and 4 in the morning). Due to these issues, I can on recommend this holiday home.

Hello Leah. Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear some aspects of your stay didn't go as well as we all would have liked. The property has a water reservoir, when 8 people shower in a row it is normal that the reservoir gets empty. Then you have to wait a little (1 hour) and the water reservoir gets full and warms up again. When you contacted the property host at 11pm, she was already sleeping and so got back to you the following morning. There are plenty of spare towels and bed linen in the bathroom, and you were advised of this during your stay. We appreciate your concerns regarding the cost of your stay. Please note that all costs are displayed at the time of booking, and we strive to ensure that our pricing is competitive and fair. Additionally, please keep in mind that each property is unique and may have different pricing based on various factors such as location, amenities, and availability. As this is a newly built villa, we feel it is competitively priced and offers good value. Your comments are valuable and will be used to further improve the service we provide. Geräumiges Ferienhaus für eine große Familie.

Pros: "Luxusvilla" ist wohl übertrieben. Dabei handelt es sich um eine platzmäßig großzügige Doppelhaushälfte in einem ruhigen Neubaugebiet in Oberasbach. Fußläufig zur SBahnhaltestelle. Von dort kann man gut mit der Bahn nach Nürnberg fahren. Das Haus war praktisch ausgestattet, alles vorhanden für ein Familienwochenende. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett, wir hatten Kontakt über Whatsapp. Selbst über zwei zerbrochene Teller sah sie großzügig hinweg. Cons: Leider waren die Betten sehr schmal und nicht so bequem. In dem Haus wurde viel Wert auf elektrischen Schnikschnak gelegt ( Lampen mit Fernbedienung, inkl.Sternenglitzer, elektr. Rolladen, LEDbeleuchteter Wasserhahn in der Gästetoilette, Fernseher in den Schlafzimmern). Auf all das hätten wir gerne verzichtet, wenn die Betten breiter und bequemer gewesen wären. Das zugestellte Reisekinderbett in der obersten Etage war leider kaputt und völlig unbrauchbar. Zum Glück hatten wir ein eigenes dabei.

Leider keine Luxusvilla

Das Objekt schneidet bei uns (6 Erwachsene mit zwei Kindern) im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis schlecht ab. Das Haus wird als Luxusvilla betitelt macht aber einen ungemütlich kühlen Eindruck. Die Verarbeitung der Materialen sieht pfuschig aus. Die Fliesen ähneln Neville leichter Nässe einer Schlittschuhbahn. Für uns acht Personen waren auf der Terasse nur vier Gartenstühle vorhanden und das ParkplatzAngebot war auch leider nicht wie im Inserat beschrieben. Von der Sauberkeit hätten wir auch mehr erwartet. Leider gab es hier uns dort Spinnengeweben. Die Ausführung der Küche spricht auch nicht für eine Luxusvilla. Auch die Ausstattung der Küche war für uns acht Personen etwas eng bemessen. Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr kühl gestaltet: weißer Boden/Wände/Möbel. Sehr steril. Vielleicht mal ein paar Bilder aufhängen oder Gardinen für etwas mehr Wohnlichkeit. Dann sind die Räume auch nicht mehr so hallig. Die Betten waren leider auch sehr schmal… höchstens 160cm breit für ein Doppelbett. Im obersten Bad sind die Wasserleitungen nicht richtig angeschlossen (heiß und kalt sind vertauscht). Das mittlere Bad hat dauerhaft nach Abwasser gestunken. Wir werden wieder nach Nürnberg kommen, aber dann eine andere Unterkunft wählen.
