Fisherman's Hideaway is the perfect home base for your next fishing trip to Conch Key! This snowbird-friendly studio comes with access to open water via the deepwater docking out back, as well as use of a fish cleaning table. It's been thoroughly and recently remodeled with all-new appliances, furnishings, and flooring for your comfort. Prepare a delicious meal - maybe the fish you caught on your own - and enjoy it alfresco in the outdoor dining area.

Just a few doors down at the Bayview Inn, you'll find a boat ramp, a convenience store, and boat and jet ski rentals. Fishing and diving charters abound as well. Head to Marathon, a short 11-mile drive, to visit attractions such as the Aquarium of the Florida Keys, the Turtle Hospital, the Dolphin Discovery Center, and Crane Point State Park.

Affordable housing at great locations in The Keys are hard to come by. This was just what we were looking for. Loved our 6 days there.

The property is as pictured, clean and quiet. My 2 teen boys and I spent 7 days fishing . It was perfect for what we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our time at this sweet little cottage for two. It’s very small, but is clean and a perfect place to get away from it all. It’s off the beaten path, but everything you might need is only 15-20 minutes away. Sitting on the back deck was especially nice; we saw a manatee and two large sea turtles just feet away from us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for a getaway

The place was very clean and the location is excellent. The back patio was very nice! We were even visited by a couple of Manatees! However, it is small and tight. Bathroom is tight. There is no plug for hairdryer. Could use a more comfortable bed. Also batteries kept dying on the TV remote. Overall a great place for a couple of guys wanting to fish or just to get away for a couple of days.

Nice water access

The property was generally clean, the wi-fi did not work for most of our stay so watching tv, programming, ipad, work email, etc. was virtually impossible. Dan, in maintenance was very helpful but there was a disconnect between the call center for help and the arrival of assistance. Liked the space well enough that we would stay there again.

Great Place for a fishing trip get-away

I gave 4 Stars because I don't give 5 Stars to hardly anything. This was a great little studio apartment for a fishing trip vacation for me and my twenty-something year old son. It not the Ritz Carlton LOL...but, you should know what your looking for in your vacation trip. The interior is like the photos posted...it's a nice redone renovation. About the only negative is that there are no docking posts...it is cleats on the back patio. It has bumpers and a wooden protect board on wall. It worked out perfectly for our 17 1/2 ft Scout center console. It was awesome to just put the boat in once for our 11 day stay. We were out in the Bay in 2 minutes or out on the Ocean side in about 5 mins. We would stay there again...thanks for the memories!

The listing lies about available amenities, including Cable TV, DVD player and coffee maker (provided after a complaint). Had to call daily about lack of internet service. Had a hair dryer in the bathroom but no outlet. Drain stopper in bath did not work. Light bulbs out and bugs in light fixture. Property Management company took money in timely fashion but never made a deadline after that. Internet code provided was wrong. So disgusted, left after 3 days and rented a different place.
