Welcome to the Little Key Lime, one of the original conch homes in the heart of The Florida Keys.

Nestled in the iconic fishing village of Little Venice, Marathon, Little Key Lime sits on a wide and deep flow-through canal with 52' dockage. Bring your boat to take on world class fishing with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean and open access to the Gulf via Vaca Cut. Its turquoise waters welcome you to enjoy all of the serenity and adventure of The Florida Keys.

The home boasts two comfortable bedrooms and shared bath, a fully stocked kitchen, and central living space for gatherings. Outdoor adventures await with two kayaks, four bikes and plenty of fishing gear with a bait freezer and fish cleaning station. A barbecue and outdoor seating on the synthetic dock have stunning ocean and sunset views. Whether vacationers come for a peaceful getaway or a seasonal event, Little Key Lime harbors memorable experiences steeped in Florida Keys charm, restoration, and natural beauty. Must be age 28 or older to rent, 7 day minimum with 4 person occupancy as per City of Marathon. No pets and no smoking allowed.

Christmas getaway

Thanks for a very enjoyable stay. Key Lime Time is comfortable and charming. It was immaculately clean and nicely furnished both inside and out. We even got to see a manatee lounging in the water right in front of the house. Highly recommend it.

Lovely home

The home is lovely. The canal front with a dock is great for the boat, and a short ride to open water. Would highly recommend this property for fisherman, divers, or anyone wanting to spend time in Marathon.

House and property were exactly as shown on vrbo. The interior was very well appointed. Good location as well, close enough for us to bike to various restaurants. Had a great week in Marathon and at "key lime time".

We stayed a week on this property. It was in pristine condition on a canal. Very nice. Property manager is excellent. Bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, etc. were in great shape. This was well worth the price we paid.

The Florida Keys

The house was immaculate, well furnished and very tastefully decorated. In addition, the house was equipped with bicycles, kYaks, a grill etc. The owner, Bobby Darden was wonderful very responsive. I would rent from him again any time. We were also visited by a manatee in the waterway behind the house!

Perfection!!

We had a great time at this property celebrating my 40th birthday!! The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. There is nice shiplap throughout the house that truly makes the home feel like a beach paradise. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a mom and baby manatee visit the canal nearly every day. There is a small floating dock area on the property where we saw a family of parrot fish in the rocks underneath. The floating dock also made it super easy getting on and off my paddle board. There was plenty of room to tie up our 22 ft boat to the dock. I absolutely recommend this home! My only regret was not booking it longer.

Honeymoon happiness

My son and his new bride loved the house. A wedding gift to the newlyweds. Kinda tough sell, changing our familiar location on tiny key with sailboat and know owners!! Sure glad my search for great spot prevailed. He loved the new spot with far more amenities, dock usage, easy access, close to so much. Great, kind and understanding owners. Knowing the sight unseen and after hurricanes worry was a perfect fit. Thank you! His dad and I may take a break from RV store & llama farm to your spot ourselves, sans the RV we love so much! Be sure Brandon gives his input.

10 year anniversary trip

We loved staying at the this location! We trailered our boat down, used the boat ramp super close by, and kept our boat at the dock our whole stay. The navigable deep water access was exactly what we wanted to go fish offshore each day. We caught tons of fish, the house was immaculate and has really nice finishes inside. The owner was responsive and helpful. Thanks for letting us celebrate 10 years married.

Quiet, comfortable, & perfect…..

This rental was as advertised and Bobby was great at responding to any questions. The place is located at the end of a street on a canal. The neighbors were very nice and the area is quiet. Inside the house it’s cozy, clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for your stay. The area restaurants we tried were all excellent (Bobby provided great recommendations). I wouldn’t hesitate to reserve another week at this rental. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Perfect Spot

This property was in a great location, immaculate and with tasteful design and a "new" feeling. Kitchen was top-notch and we made good use of the grill and outside space. Floating doc was also a bonus. Great water access to Vaca Cut high leaves you free to go Gulf or Atlantic. The host Bobby was super responsive and prompt. Probably in the top 3 of our VRBO rentals., Will absolutely rent again if in Marathon.

Little house on the water

This was a great rental for my family of 3. We rented a boat and spent a few days fishing. I was wonderful to have a place to dock the boat and the cleaning station is a great bonus. The house is small but well kept and decorated. This was an excellent place to stay in Marathon and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent House on the water

This house was great and fit our family of four perfectly. The location is very good and plenty within a short walking distance and in a quiet neighborhood. The views on the canal are beautiful and we saw plenty of fish, birds, manatees, etc. The house is nicely updated and well furnished with everything you can think of. We especially like the extras like beach chairs, cooler, kayaks and deck chairs/shaded seating. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place in the Keys.
