About the host
Hosted by Robert McClure
My name is Rob and I am a United States Marine Veteran, born and raised in Michigan. So being in the great outdoors is nothing new to me. Now, my wife Amanda and I reside in Ohio. We started our journey to the Paradise Valley many years ago through family members, who own a home in the Paradise Valley. It only took one visit to fall in love with this amazing place. Big Sky Freedom truly exists and breath taking Yellowstone National Park, NEVER disappoints. After many trips out here from Ohio, we finally bought a place of our own. Though our work and life keep us from being here full-time right now, we come every chance we get. In the meantime we decided to rent it our piece of Paradise and introduce this wonderful place to others. We hope you enjoy our little slice of heaven. If there is anything we can do to mke your vacation the best it can be, do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you so much for choosing us! - Amanda & Rob, Owners, YellowstoneMigrant
Why they chose this property
The name Paradise Valley Says it all. The amazing mountain views, the Yellowstone River right next to us. Yellowstone National Park, the hiking, the biking, floating down the river, the hot springs, and so much more. Its everything we love to do and everything in a place we want to be!
What makes this property unique
The show Yellowstone's story line was based on Paradise Valley, MT. Don't worry though, no one is going to take you to the Train Station. We found that most locals are amazing people (unless you act like a fool). Tip: do NOT put a brand new cowboy hat on, some tight wranglers, and new cowboy boots, then call people "Partner!" We have stayed in many rentals and we have concluded that we what our YellowstoneMigrant rental to have everything, we would want it to have. So people can have the best vacation EVER! Things we've noticed along the way: - It has to be super clean. - You have to have comfortable beds. All our queen sized beds are brand new. They're not to soft and they're not to hard, right in between. - We also have both firm and soft pillow options on every bed. - The water pressure must be good, CHECK! - The towels need to be soft and NOT like thin sand paper. - It needs to be a place that makes you feel as comfortable as being home. - We have guest book that not only gives you all the information you need to know. It also helps take all the guess work out of everywhere there is to go, do, eat, and enjoy in the Paradise Valley and surrounding areas, to maximize your trip. Whether you want to wrestle a Grizzly Bear to the ground with your bare hands or you want to pet a Bison! DO NOT DO EITHER!! or you'll be the next idiot social media sensation. However, the amount of wildlife on the highway's throughout the Paradise Valley, is reason to always be cautious, especially in the evenings. Talk about amazing though. You'll see mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, elk, moose, grizzly bear, black bear, big horn sheep, bison, fox, bobcat, coyote, eagles, and many other forms of wildlife. That is just in the Paradise Valley. Wait until you get into Yellowstone National Park! So take it all in, you won't find another place on earth quit like Paradise Valley Montana.
