This was the nicest rental property I've ever stayed at. It was genuinely an amazing place with everything you could ever need. With 2 hot tubs, 2 saunas, 2 firepits, a pool table, ping pong, basketball and pickleball court, this place had everything to keep our large group entertained throughout our stay. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens were all super nice, newly renovated and very clean. With 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and 14 beds, it was more than enough space to fit our group of 15. The location is great, you are centrally located near a lot of stores and restaurants, only a short drive to downtown Asheville, while also being nicely tucked away in the woods with no neighbors close enough to have to worry about your noise level. The host was in contact with me throughout the process and always responded quickly to my messages. I can't recommend this property enough and hope that I am able to return sometime in the future.
We stayed for 2 nights and actually used the site for a retreat for our high school leadership team. Having two houses made sleeping arrangements simple. The three bunks in the downstairs hallway (main lodge) are definitely for children, the second bunk room - we actually used for adults since the beds were bigger and had a shared bathroom. The house is fully stocked with kitchenware if you want to cook "in" - we relied on the main lodge kitchen for 5 of the 6 meals during our stay and found the kitchen area definitely upscale when considering most properties. The dining tables (inside and out at the main lodge) seat 12 which is what we had attend - so it was perfect. The A-frame house was also well equipped with three full bedrooms. Both properties imo are more upscale than a traditional house you would find on rental sites. Very well decorated, very spacious, new appliances, updated bathrooms, pleasing to the eye - I don't think anyone would enter either house and think "well this is average". The owners certainly did not cut corners on decorating the houses, actually felt like we were staying at someones "home" definitely did not feel like a "rental".Because we rented both houses - we only used the main lodge hot tub, kitchen, etc. but both houses are equally furnished and outfitted for a great stay. Certainly would recommend and we plan to utilize the space again in the future for our team.
