Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The pictures don’t do it justice. Barely a minute walk to the lake. Has a shared dock and small area to sit. Yard is spacious and nice. Hope to stay there again.
This home was everything we hoped for and more. What a wonderful home away from home. Andrea did a wonderful job of answering all of our questions and providing a beautiful experience. The paddle boat was so much fun and we loved being down on the beach. This will be our “go to” place anytime we comeback to CNY. Thank you so much!
The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable, which is most important to me. There was great (really great!) light for reading and puzzling in the great room areas, but the light in the master bedroom was challenging without a flashlight for finding things in the closet and/or dresser. The closet was awkward in that only one door opened (the other blocked by bedroom side table.) I loved the gas cooktop and the kitchen was well equipped far beyond my expectations.I am never crazy about a master bathroom that is open to the bedroom, as this one was, but having the little powder room downstairs helped afford some privacy when there were moments that were best left unshared. The photos did lead me to believe the property was right on the water, which it isn’t, but it wouldn’t keep me from staying here again.
The heading for the listing on the property said "on Lake Owasco." It was not on the lake it was about a short distance walk but you had to cross a street, walk between two houses and then go down to the water. You then had access to a pier. But it was NOT on the like like the heading said. Also, the listing said "Master Bedroom with Lake Views" but the only thing you could see from that room was some tree trunks and leaves, no lake. The listing also said you could see "stunning sunset views from the French doors...again, all you could see was a white storage shed and trees, no lake. We paid for a property which had sunset views and on Lake Owasco but that is not what we got. The house itself is outdtaning with a gorgeous kitchen, dining room area, televisions in every room, air conditioning, two and one half baths, outstanding master bedroom suite, great deck with wonderful gas powered barbeque, and wonderfully stocked towels, silverware, dishes, etc. However, when we opened the freezer there were two cartons of half eaten ice cream and a box of partially eaten popsicles. When we tried to adjust the shower head, it pulled out of the wall. The house was wonderful but the location and views were not as described. The inconvenient access to the water was a definite drawback.
