Lovely property with the redwood basically growing straight out of the house. It was built in 1906, but things have been kept updated. The glass in the front windows has that wavy, old look to it and looks original, along with possibly the front door.None of us liked the pillows. They were that memory foam material and they were too thick. Maybe there were some spare regular pillows somewhere, but we were too tired to complain or search. The host seems kind of fake by sending copy-paste messages that don't have the blanks filled in, but there was never a lack of communication. The winding roads are, by necessity, very narrow. Be prepared to go slow and watch out for the many people exercising and walking dogs. Cars must pull aside to let each other pass as it is only wide enough for one at a time. It was no problem for us. What was a problem was some construction work about 500 feet in front of the house. Trenchwork, uncrossable by car. Even the locals were surprised/confused.Don't even bother trying to put your car in the driveway. It's not worth it at all. Pretend the driveway isn't even there. Just park on the nice dirt across the street and don't fall into the very beautiful creek. The second bedroom is in the basement (there are front windows) and you have to exit through the front door and use the stairs to get to it. There's also no doorknob on the basement door for some reason?Anyway, overall amazing place, but definitely some quirks to figure out.
