About this property
Classic Leech Lake Cabin on Agency Narrows w/Private Dock + Big Deck
Welcome to a classic Minnesota lake cabin tucked beneath the pines directly on Leech Lake, along the beautiful Agency Narrows just minutes from Walker.
Set on a private, wooded acre overlooking the water, the cabin combines the character of an authentic Up North getaway with an outstanding Leech Lake location. Agency Narrows is the scenic stretch of Leech Lake connecting Agency Bay and Walker Bay, known for its protected waters and typically calm, tranquil setting.
Warm knotty-pine interiors, a huge lake-facing deck, private seasonal dock and beautiful views through the trees make this a place built for long days on Leech Lake and unhurried evenings at the cabin.
Whether you're coming to fish, boat, spend time with family and friends, enjoy fall Up North or set up basecamp for a winter adventure, you'll have a comfortable place to call home in one of our favorite parts of Leech Lake.
THE DECK & LEECH LAKE
The oversized deck is one of our favorite parts of the property. Overlooking Agency Narrows beneath towering pines, there's plenty of room for morning coffee, meals outside, an afternoon with a book or a drink as the sun goes down.
A private path and staircase lead from the cabin down to the shoreline and seasonal dock. Bring your own boat, fish from the dock, or enjoy the clear water and sandy bottom just offshore.
Agency Narrows is part of Leech Lake itself, connecting Agency Bay and Walker Bay. Its protected location typically means calmer, more tranquil water than you'll find on the lake's larger open-water areas - great for relaxing at the dock, boating and enjoying the shoreline while still being right on Leech Lake.
INSIDE THE CABIN
Inside you'll find the warmth and character of a traditional Minnesota lake cabin, with knotty pine, vintage Northwoods details and comfortable spaces for gathering after a day outside.
Large windows bring in natural light and offer views through the trees toward the lake. The main living area provides a comfortable place to relax, watch TV or spend an evening together, and the Pac-Man game table adds a little friendly competition.
The kitchen is stocked with the essentials for preparing meals during your stay, with an adjoining dining area for eating, playing cards or planning the next day's adventure.
Please note that the cabin does not have a dishwasher.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The property works especially well for families, fishing groups and small groups traveling together.
Primary Bedroom: Queen bed
Bunk Room: Four individual bunks
Seasonal Guest Cabin
Queen bed Separate from the main cabin for additional privacy Sleeping space only - no seperate bathroom or kitchen Not heated and primarily available during warmer months BOATING & FISHING
Leech Lake is one of Minnesota's great fishing and recreational lakes, and Agency Narrows puts you in an excellent location to enjoy it.
Guests are welcome to bring their own boat. There is room for trailer parking at the property, and the seasonal dock provides a place to tie up during your stay.
From Agency Narrows, you have direct access by water to Agency Bay, Walker Bay and the larger expanses of Leech Lake. Whether you're headed out fishing, exploring the lake or boating into Walker, you're already on Leech Lake when you leave the dock.
WINTER AT THE CABIN
The main cabin is heated and available year-round. Winter brings an entirely different Up North experience, with opportunities for ice fishing, snowmobiling and ATV/UTV riding throughout the area.
The property is plowed for winter access. The dock is removed after open-water season, and winter lake access is available nearby rather than directly from the property's shoreline.
LOCATION
One of the things we love about the property is the combination of a quiet, wooded lake setting and easy access to Walker.
Approximately 14 minutes to Walker by car Approximately 10 minutes to Walker by boat
Walker offers restaurants, shops, groceries and plenty to explore. The surrounding area and nearby Chippewa National Forest also offer hiking, trails, wildlife and year-round outdoor recreation.
COMFORT & GOOD TO KNOW
This is a genuine, vintage Minnesota lake cabin - not a newly built luxury lake home. We've continued to thoughtfully update and care for it while preserving the character that makes it special.
High-speed Wi-Fi Furnace/heat in the main cabin Portable air-conditioning unit in the front living area for relief during the hottest summer days Fans are also provided throughout the cabin No central air No dishwasher Seasonal Guest Cabin is not heated Seasonal dock is removed for winter Cell service varies by carrier The cabin sits above the lake, and reaching the dock requires using a staircase
If you're looking for a comfortable, character-filled cabin in a fantastic location directly on Leech Lake - a place for early mornings on the dock, long afternoons on the water and evenings overlooking Agency Narrows from the deck - we'd love to have you stay.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this part of Leech Lake because it offers the best of both worlds - a peaceful, wooded setting on the protected waters of Agency Narrows, while still being just minutes from Walker. The Narrows connects Agency Bay and Walker Bay and is typically calm and tranquil, yet you're directly on the largest part of Leech Lake with easy access to everything the lake has to offer. We especially love the towering pines, evenings overlooking the water from the deck, and being able to reach Walker by either boat or car.
