The caboose was lovely, cozy and comfortable. There is a street light on the adjacent corner to the caboose which reflects light into the downstairs bedroom. It’s very bright in the bedroom at night which did affect sleep. A blackout shade perhaps? Otherwise we loved our stay!
Fantastic! No hassle occupancy, downtown location, directly across from Chama railyards for that authentic whistle-stop experience! We walked the friendly village, ate the absolute best tacos in New Mexico at "My Mom and Dad's Restaurant" then slept in the dreamy silence of starry night skies. The Caboose was everything and MORE! What a COOL experience to stay in a beautiful train car! Everything was First Class for comfort and convenience! But beware: the neighborhood Chihuahua is a total Alley Bully! Wonderful experience! Kudos to our hosts for a great stay!!
