Butterfly Pool House



The Space:

Light and airy, relaxed but stylish, Butterfly Cottage is a great place to get away from the city! There is a huge, fenced back yard with a sparkling private pool, a big lawn for games and sports, and a large deck from which to view it all. Best of all, Pier Street Beach in Lakeside is exactly one mile from the house so you can walk, bike, or drive to the beach as there is a tiny bit of roadside parking allowed. The house has an open, flowing layout and big windows that let the sunlight in. There is a fireplace in the living area and a den where you can kick back and watch TV. The well-equipped kitchen has a pass-through to the dining room, which comfortably seats eight. There are three bedrooms on the upper level, beginning with the main bedroom suite that features a king bed. The main bathroom has a deep soaking tub and two additional bedrooms that share a full bathroom. There are another full bathroom and bedroom with a queen bed on the main level that is great for those who can't do a lot of stairs. There is also a large finished family room in the basement. There are plenty of other sources of adventure and entertainment close by, including the Four Winds Casino, great restaurants, art galleries, and interesting stores to explore. Butterfly House is in a peaceful country location on the east side of Red Arrow Highway but still close to the lake, with woods across the road and neighbors a discrete distance away. All the amenities and opportunities of Harbor country are right here so come and enjoy some pool time at this inviting house! THINGS TO KNOW *Please note that the pool is open from roughly May 15 - September 15 every year. The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The pool will be heated to 80 degrees prior to your arrival. If you wish for the heat to increase, please contact VueStay after you secure your booking. Comfortable & Quiet!

Comfortable and quiet for a getaway. 5 of us had space to spread out, enjoyed the pool and nearby dunes, had great food in nearby towns. Well-stocked kitchen tools made group cooking easy. The directions were easy and it was a wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay with our adult children . The house has a beautiful pool and outdoor spaces . The kitchen was large and well appointed which made cooking easy. The house is spacious - everyone had room to spread out and relax truly enjoyed everything about this house !

Great family getaway

Everyone has a blast! The pool was great and the indoor and outdoor spaces couldn’t be beat. The kids were bummed that there is no play set in the backyard but loved all the pool toys and lawn games in the garage. We have never stayed in a rental with a better kitchen set up. We will certainly be back.

Amazing Pool & Yard

Had a great time at the Butterfly House with our family and young children. The pool and yard are spectacular. The pool was clean and there were plenty of floats and toys and towels available. In addition we loved the fire pit for the evenings. The house is in a great location, short drive to beaches and towns. The house was also great for our family to hang out and play games, watch movies and eat meals together.

Family wedding stay

My family was in town for a wedding. The house was beautiful and the backyard was wonderful as well. That being said, the house is advertised as a five bedroom which is what we required due to various ages of males and females in our extended family. When we checked in we discovered that the home only has 4 bedrooms. There is a bed in the basement, however, the day before check in the manager contacted us to say the owners had a flood several months prior, and had decided to rip up the carpeting in the basement and that it was not usable space. Not sure why they waited until the day before check in to tell us that. It is a very nice property, but not as advertised and we had to find alternate lodging for one member of our group.
