We always consider ourselves quite fortunate to have families making fond memories of time well spent at our rental home.
Our 3 generations of family had a wonderful time at this property. Brad was very responsive to our questions. The family really enjoyed the pool, the 2 large master bedrooms, and the generous living spaces!
The host, Brad, was very responsive and available. He greeted us at check-in and gave directions and information that we needed to enjoy our stay. We would love to make his home an annual vacation!

First and foremost, the host is very friendly and accommodating. The house served our family well. We were 6 adults and 4 children. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. The kids never wanted to leave. The location of this property was just minutes away from the beach, restaurants and shopping.
It is great place to stay for relaxing with family We enjoyed staying with families especially babies and toddler The pools is clean and well maintained for babies and adults One thing visitors should ask them before is be prepared spice , salt and pepper etc for cooking.Brad is well communicated and proper respondedWe went to beach but stay at the house and enjoying the pool is better with younger one.
We had a wonderful time. The pool was great for our little ones and it was conveniently located. Brad, our host, was so helpful before and during our stay.
This place was perfect for our extended family! The house is huge and the outdoor space was wonderful! The beach was just minutes away and it was lovely too.
. You need to stay away from property . It rained on both porches was made of wood. They both needed cleanedI almost slipped and fell twice. Some body eventually willfall ...! The smoke detectors beeped all night and kept us awake. The cover on the pool was broken and not able to keep the water temperature up for us to go swimming the owner came to fix that. And looked at that is worshire something had fallen down in it andstopped it from working. He was there for about three hours sitting in his car outside of the house with it running just sitting there!!!! When you're running out a place, you should not have the owner on the property for hours, especially if it's three thousand ...THERE WHERE ANTSCrawling on counters in the kitchen and the icemaker didn't work. The biggest problem I have is the ownernot giving us any personal space on a house that we have rented . I think he should be checked into. Owner was clingy and spied on us several times..

This is a battle between evil and justice. I will not yield to your false accusations and coercion. You try to extort me, demanding a refund after living in my home for 3 days saying if I don't comply, you threaten to defame me and the house online in the review screaming; 'if you don't give me some money back I'm going to blow up your review!" Such despicable behavior is outrageous! I've been in the vacation rental business over a decade and I've never experienced anything this bad. All my clients reviews are enough to proove that I'm an excelent host and my houses are incredibly comfortable. It seems now, this renter was looking for reasons to complain that day, and the rest of the weekento set herself up for a refund on some monies because weather wise the entire weekend was a bust, 50's & non stop raining the entire 3 days and nights. First morning I get a call; "you need to get here right now because the dishwasher is not working and its filthy with food all over the inside of it!" I was there in less than 20 minutes. I'd cleaned the dishwasher, Myself, that morning before check-in. And yes, the dishwasher was filthy with food and inoperable because they had filled the dishwasher with very dirty dishes full of food and because she had a pair 12" tongs hanging down from the upper basket and another one sticking up from the silverware basket preventing the water dispenser from spinning freely and with 10 "adults"(?) already inebriated (a months worth of alcohol on the breakfast bar) at 10 in the morning not one of them could figure this out by themselves. So I showed her, straightened it out and ran the dishwasher on the most powerful and longest 3 hour setting. Then she screams, "the showers don't work!". So I show her the showers working. She says they wont switch from the handheld to water from the wall close to the same height. (WTH!?). But I called my handyman unfreeze the shower valves, on a Sunday. Meanwhile, I go out to the pool and it's rained so much that the pool was about to overflow leaving the skimmer box filter inoperable and thus leaving the pool eventually unsafe for swimming. So, I have to drain 1000 gallons of water out of the pool and then balance all the chemicals in the pool from all that rain. An enormous undertaking. All the while, they're drinking and smoking cannabis on the back deck next to the kitchen, dining room, great room, WITH THE DOOR OPEN (in the morning! Believe me when I say" I'd already seen and heard enough! Let alone wanting to "spy" on this ridiculous circus. I was very uncomfortable being there so I parked my car as far away from our home as possible (just to be sure I couldn't see what I'd already seen or worse), in my car, in the cold and pouring rain, waiting for the dishwasher to cycle out, going back and forth to the pool (through the gate, not the house) to check on the all that water being pumped out and after that, trying to adjust the chemicals and waiting 30 minutes to test the chemicals each time, again while also waiting for my handyman to show up and do the adjustment on already working showers while she went out somewhere. Of course I was still there when she came home a couple hours later. When she got home, she called me screaming and yelling "why are you still here!? "You're spying on us!" I tried to explain to her that the only reason I was still there was because she called me there about a dishwasher that wasn't done cycling yet that she made malfunction, draining 1000 gallons from the pool plus trying to adjust/balance the chemicals and waiting for handyman to show up to fix working showers to her satisfaction. She just kept yelling and screaming that I was spying on them (while I'm trying to put out of my mind what I'd already seen was already way too much for me. So, I left, dishwasher running, pool as is, canceled the handyman. Hoping that this nightmare wouldn't get any worse, I never went back there again until they checked out. They left the house smelling like burnt natural gas fumes (because they used the gas fireplace in the living room with the flue closed which probably caused the smoke alarms to chirp and the burnt gas smell), burnt cannabis smell and burnt grease smell (could've also cause the smoke detectors to chirp), We opened all the windows and doors for a couple days to air out our home and never once heard a smoke detector chirp. (we were never got a call about smoke detectors chirping, ever, their food was everywhere causing ants and our decks are not slippery, especially in a hard perpetual rain, if you' sober. A pocket door to a bathroom is off the track, a wok in a kitchen cabinet with burnt grease & food still in it, and our teenage son finding cannabis buds on a bedroom floor. These are all appalling behavior. The renter even tried to use despicable means to blackmail us into giving them a refund! We are even more grateful now, to all our previous & future wonderful families we welcome to stay at our home.
Brad was so kind and welcoming for our stay at his home. We fully enjoyed the heated pool with a sun deck that was perfect for my 3 year old. The hot tub was also great for adults. Just a short drive from downtown it was a really nice visit and we hope to be back.
We really enjoyed our stay with extended family at this location. Brad was extremely attentive and available for any questions or concerns. Great pool and Hot tub. Easy to get to and spacious rooms and backyard. Close to New Buffalo town and attractions so would highly recommend.
Wonderful experience. Pool was a definite highlight. Very convenient location. Brad was very welcome, helpful, responsive and unobtrusive. Highest recommendation, especially for a family
Brad has a great home which me and my group enjoyed over a weekend. Brad was great at communicating with me right away over the phone. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again.
Brad’s house is great! Large home with plenty of space for hanging out! Our kids loved the pool and the hot tub was great for relaxing in the evening! The home is well stocked with dishes, pans and towels/bedding! We would definitely recommend this house!
What a great week! House was spotless and larger than it appears in the photos. Pool and hot tub kept the kids (and adults) occupied for hours. Location is perfect. Thank you!

It was a pleasure meeting you and your family and hosting you all. We are very fortunate in that you are all, the type of family, we’re always hoping for. You are all, always, welcome here.
The pool! The hot tub! Pogo stick races in the front driveway, making s’mores in the fire pitt. St. Mary’s Festival, delicious breweries, the Oink ice cream shop, and the very best VRBO host in Michigan made this weekend a core memory for our families. Thank you for a perfect stay. We will be back!!
Enjoyed a few days with extended family. Too cool to use the pool but played games and enjoyed drinks on the pool deck. House was spacious and comfortable. Lots to do in the area. Host was very responsive to needs!
