The Blue Studio at Taras Land

This charming studio with adjoining glasshouse is located in a very peaceful spot on Sheeps Head on the Wild Atlantic Way, offering tranquillity, relaxation and a chance to slow down. It is ideal for exploring West Cork and the south-west coast of Ireland. It is situated on a large plot of land about 3 km from Durrus, next to the main house, and has its own entrance and outdoor area with several seating areas, one of which has a beautiful view of the sea. It is the perfect base for long walks on Sheeps Head and Mizen Head, numerous water sports, sailing and whale watching trips, exploring the beauty of West Cork, or simply relaxing.
The accommodation is located on the ground floor of a small cottage (upper floor is storage space only) and consists of one room with a large double bed, round table with 3 chairs, a comfortable armchair, a kitchenette in the cupboard with a 2-ring hob, mini fridge, small sink, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a clothes rack, as well as a spacious bathroom with shower. Attached to this is a conservatory/glass greenhouse with a bench and a large table with two chairs. Outside, there is additional seating with views of the countryside or the sea.

Lovely, cosy, quirky studio

We needed 2 nights to rest our heads whilst we visited family close by and this was perfect !! Clean and comfy with great shower and comfortable bed. Very thoughtful extras like tea coffee and orange juice . Very well equipped and ingenious use of space ! Very quiet and peaceful . taschi very welcoming . All in all, a great stay

Nous avons reçu un accueil trés chaleureux de nos hotes qui ont été à nos petits soins tous le long de notre séjour. Le studio est trés bien équipé et la véranda est trés appréciable. Tout était parfait dans un calme absolu et Le soleil était au rendez vous. Nous avons passé 5 jours fantastiques dans ce gite. Merci encore à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse.

Hübsches Studio. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir, dass eine Grundausstattung an Küchenkram da war: Kaffee, Tee, Zucker, Salz, Pfeffer, Öl, Spülmittel, eine Flasche Wasser und sogar ein Saft. Lediglich der Blick täuscht auf den Bildern etwas. Man kann das Meer vom Grundstück aus sehen, aber nicht direkt vom Studio aus.

Entspannte Auszeit

Wir haben uns hier von Anfang an sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Die wunderschöne Gegend als auch die Unterkunft haben für sehr entspannte Urlaubstage gesorgt. Taschi und ihre Schwester haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wundervolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung während unserer Zeit dort gegeben. Sie waren immer hilfsbereit und haben uns gut versorgt. Vielen Dank noch mal für die Ziegenmilch und all die anderen Dinge. Wir können diese Unterkunft und auch die schöne Gegend nur wärmstens empfehlen.
