Step out the cabin door as redwoods tower over the wire-mesh deck of this Cazadero retreat. A black wood-burning stove warms the blonde-wood accent wall, and the light-wood kitchen meets white subway-tile backsplash. Walk 1.9 miles to Point of ridge, or 1.8 miles to the Cazadero General Store.
The Space:
Spend mornings on the deck as mist lifts off the Russian River, afternoons floating the river or visiting Korbel and Joseph Jewell tasting rooms, and evenings around the firepit with the day's bottles.
A black wood-burning stove on a brick surround anchors the open living space — the gathering point on foggy evenings. The grey sofa and an armchair sit on a cowhide rug; a Roku TV stands ready for movie nights. The kitchen pairs light wood cabinets and white counters with stainless appliances, a gas range, and a subway tile backsplash. A six-seat dining table waits beneath an eclectic mix of chairs, with the path down to Austin Creek just outside the back door.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Your furnished deck wraps around the cabin with a picnic table, bench seating, and gas grill for alfresco dining. Wire mesh railings frame towering redwoods while string lights set the mood. A path leads directly to Austin Creek below.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Two bedrooms each offer king beds on wood frames — one with warm brown checkered bedding, the other in calming blues. Both overlook the redwoods. A queen sofa bed in the living room handles overflow. Sleeps 4.
PROPERTY AMENITIES
-- Wood-burning stove

-- Washer and dryer
-- Roku TV (bring streaming credentials)
-- Full kitchen with dishwasher
-- Parking for 2 vehicles
Guest Access:
Pull up to a modernized cabin tucked into towering forest, fire up the wood-burning stove inside, and slide open the deck doors for outdoor dining among the trees. The whole cabin is yours, with clean contemporary finishes set against the rustic exterior. Punch in the keypad code at the door; the parking pad in front fits two cars.
Getting Around:
Cazadero is about an hour and 45 minutes from San Francisco via 101 and River Road — a scenic drive into a quiet redwood canyon. A car makes the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast easy to explore, from redwood groves to coastal bluffs. Cell service gets patchy in the redwoods, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is worth it.

Lovely Property!!
This cabin has gorgeous interior and was super clean when we arrived. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (and more) to cook. I also loved that the backyard had the creek running right through it. Such a gem. Will definitely be coming back :)

A perfect getaway spot!
Everything was well organized, and thoughtfully designed and decorated with a modern eye yet felt so cozy. The pantry was fully stocked and we enjoyed using the kitchen. We enjoyed the access to the creek and their new tree shower feature. Having the washer/dryer was key after water play in the creek/river/ocean.
CazCabin 6 was a true retreat from city life and we all enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful, tranquil, incredibly comfortable!
We absolutely loved Caz Cabin 6 - could not have been more perfect for a holiday week getaway. The cabin itself is comfy and cozy, with everything you need for a great stay, including a fully stocked kitchen (that even has good knives!). The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the nice warm comforters kept us comfy on chilly nights.
The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful and tranquil, and we'd love to come back in the warmer months so we can spend more time outside.
You can't go wrong with this cabin!

Worth it.
First of all. Make sure that you have an idea of where the cabin is because gps may not be reliable. The cabin is amazing. The spot is excellent. Very private and the views are great. You for sure will relax here. Plus there is other rivers to visit and is close to the beach. The house had everything you may need for cooking
Home and the property are lovely and we’re very comfortable with all amenities we needed. The only negative thing is that the beds are incredibly hard and uncomfortable. I would definitely consider a comfortable mattress topper on both beds if I were the owner. Having a couple of Adirondack done at the beach would be lovely. All in all it was fabulous!

Thank you for your feedback, Sandy. We're thrilled to hear that you found our home lovely and that you were comfortable with the amenities. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the mattress toppers and Adirondack chairs at the beach. Your insights are valuable, and we will pass them along to the local operations manager. We hope to host you again for another fabulous stay.
