We needed a place to sleep while we were volunteering at the Osh Kosh Air Show Sea Plane Base. This house fit the bill. We worked such long days that we literally slept and took showers, we didn’t even eat there. The house was very clean. It had a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The owner was very nice and very easy to communicate with, which we really appreciated!

The pictures are extremely misleading. The place is very dingy. There’s a bedroom downstairs that’s mostly fine, but the sleeping arrangements for the other eight upstairs are a very tight attic without separate rooms. There’s one bathroom and the water pressure is subpar. The outside of the building is pretty rundown. Everything worked. And communication was good. Great parking behind the unit. The AC worked fine.

The property is an old house on a busy street. After trying to contact the owner for 4 hours we found some things to do until check in time. When entering it had a strong curry smell after adjusting the air conditioning and using fans it was better. Most beds are up several steep stairs. All beds and bedding appeared to be new but felt a little cramped for 5 adults. I would suggest adding some mirrors (the only one was in the bathroom). It would help to have a container for recycling items with a list of what can be recycled since it and trash have to be disposed of around the side of the home. Also additional toilet paper ( 3 rolls for 5 people wasn’t quite enough).
