A spacious holiday home for 4 people at the foot of the dunes in Groet. The house has a private entrance, a sunny, sheltered garden with a covered porch/patio, and an in-ground trampoline. From the garden, you can enjoy a view of the “Die Schoorler Dünen” nature reserve.
A sliding glass door connects the spacious, open interior to the veranda and the garden.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious sitting area with a corner sofa and a long dining table that seats 6–8 people. For cooler days, there’s a wood-burning stove and a cosy sitting area.
The practical open kitchen is equipped with everything you need: a 5-burner stove with oven, refrigerator, coffee maker (Nespresso), microwave, and electric kettle. Two spacious bedrooms sleep up to 4 people. One room has a double bed, and the other has two single beds. There’s plenty of space for children to play (both indoors and outdoors), and toys for young children are provided.
The entrance to the dunes is 30 metres from the house. From the garden and the bedrooms, you have a view of the nature reserve, and one of the three climbing dunes is just a minute’s walk away. The beach is a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute bike ride away. By car, you can reach the large car park at Hargen aan Zee in less than 10 minutes.
The Schoorl Dunes are the tallest and widest dunes in the Netherlands. More than 60 kilometres of hiking trails and countless bike routes wind through the oldest forests or across the shifting dunes. There is a wide selection of beaches, such as Hargen aan Zee, Schoorl aan Zee, and Camperduin. Groet is a small village where life is pleasant in every season. Cosy cafes and restaurants, a nearby supermarket, a bike rental shop, and the bus stop are all just a few minutes’ walk away.
