Let me start off with the positive. This is a spacious home in a nice location if you don’t mind being a little out of the way. There is a complete separate living quarters in the basement level which is nice for traveling multi family. The views of the sea are very nice!Now for everything else. The property is not well maintained. The systems are horrendous. We had no power on the entire first floor for 13 days and the hosts responses first started out rude and then stopped coming all together. VRBO finally got them to send an electrician who completely rewired the panel and added breakers. It was fine after that. It was so bad we had 5 family members go to a hotel. Two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room totally unusable for nearly half the trip.Everything outside was filthy. I mean some lawn furniture so dirty you wouldn’t let your pet sit on it. Flowers and shrubs overgrown and dead leaves laying everywhere. A full trash bag laying out by the pool. Broken stuff everywhere shower fixtures, door hardware, window shutters, chipped paint on rails.Finally the showers drains were all slow and smelled of sewage since day one. They got progressively worse and would flood over with every shower. Calls and texts again went unanswered. Went out and bought liquid to unclog myself and it helped marginally.For all this hell on a 30k rental VRBO offered a whopping 500 concession because the host wouldn’t even answer them! All I can say is stay away!
