This charming house is the perfect home base for your trip to hike, or mountain bike the Appalachian Trail. Guests will find two comfortable bedrooms, featuring one queen bed and two twin beds, ideal for a small group or family. The bathroom includes a bathtub/shower and a hair dryer for convenience. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or enjoying a quiet morning inside, the space offers heating and AC to keep you comfortable year-round. This charming house invites guests to create enjoyable memories in a cozy, welcoming setting. It is quiet and secluded. The only noise will be the birds singing. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place. This property will not accommodate construction crews or commercial trade workers of more than 2!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

-Wash and put dishes away. Empty refrigerator. -All used towels should be placed in the bathtub. -Strip beds and place used bedding on top of the bed. -Don’t leave wet items on the wood floors.

-All trash should be bagged and placed in the outdoor receptacle. -Make sure you’ve gathered all of your belongs. -Turn off all lights, coffee pots, etc.

-Have a safe trip home!

Our home operates on a private well. To ensure you have steady, uninterrupted water pressure throughout your stay, please be mindful of water usage.

Avoid running multiple major water sources at once (shower and washing machine). Running the well dry can temporarily interrupt your water supply!

We LOVED our 3-night stay here. It was like our home away from home. VERY clean, cozy, and well stocked. The location is private and quiet. Suzanne and her husband take excellent care of their property and do everything possible to ensure a wonderful stay. If we're in the area again, we'll check if this place is available! Highly recommend!!

We stay in rentals quite often in this area. This is one of the best ones for the price. This house was conveniently located to everything but far enough away for the peace and quiet. The house was well equipped for those of us who like to cook. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning if available going forward.

Wonderful stay--we appreciated the warm welcome and the spotless Home! The kitchen was fully equipped, bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable! The bonus BBQ grill cooked a great steak and the back porch with the table and chairs was great. The home was surrounded by thick trees and brush and gave the impression of being very secluded--it was very quiet! The location was easy to find and perfect for visiting both the north and south ends of the Shenandoah National Park, sky Line drive. Thanks for letting us use your Home!

The property was clean and had everything we needed including some extras. The host was wonderful and helped us when we were in a bind. The communication with the host was fantastic. The location was also great; quiet and secluded spot but very close to Shenandoah National Park. We had a very nice stay.
