The view was really nice. It was great that I could bring my dogs. We enjoyed the woodstove. The house was pretty clean and had everything needed, but there were definitely some negative aspects and the interior pics need some updating. Negatives included: (1) All of the seating was quite uncomfortable. (2) The bed sheets weren't sized correctly for the queen bed in the downstairs bedroom and were too small. (3) The pots and pans need upgrading bc several were non-stick were chipped and cracking therefore unsafe to use. (4) The potholders are in definite need of being laundered as they felt too grimy to use. (5) The woodstove had quite a lot of ash left in it and we had trouble finding an ash pale in order to clean it out; we finally found the ash pail and log holder haphazardly tossed in the closet by the stairwell. (6) Location directions need improvement. (7) House instructions need improvement because tells you the stove propane tank needs to be turned on before using the stove, so we kept trying to turn the knob on for quite some time, so weren't able to use the stove that night or in the morning. As it turned out, the maintenance person had turned the tank on so no wonder we couldn't get the knob to turn on. Kind of silly, but with accurate instructions, it would have been avoided. (8) There was quite a bit of dog feces on the far side of tbe house that hadn't been picked up. Stepping in that was a bad introduction to my stay.
