Neustädtles has existed in its current form for 200 years. Its character is particularly shaped by its location. In the centre of this small forest village lies Karlsplatz, with its partially preserved drip houses and the castle, which took on its current form at the beginning of the 19th century. There is a wide variety of recreational activities. The village is situated along the Rhön Circular Trail No. 1 and other popular hiking and biking trails.
