About the host

Hosted by Emily Hebert

Host profile image
We’re a family from Upstate New York who grew up spending weekends in Lake George, exploring the Adirondacks, swimming at the beaches, and making the kind of memories that stay with you forever. For as long as we can remember, we dreamed of having a place here — somewhere to return to year after year, somewhere our kids could grow up loving just as much as we did.

That dream finally became real with this home. Today, we visit whenever we can, bringing our two children to experience the same simple joys we had growing up: crisp fall hikes, quiet winter mornings by the lake, cozy fires at night, and time with family just a short drive away. It’s become our home base whenever we’re visiting relatives in the area, and a place that feels like a true escape from everyday life.

Because Lake George has always been such a special part of our story, we’re genuinely happy to share this home with others. Whether you’re here for the peaceful off‑season, the beauty of fall foliage, or the quiet magic of winter in the Adirondacks, we hope you feel the same sense of comfort, nostalgia, and connection that we do every time we’re here.

This home is more than a getaway for us — it’s a piece of our family history, a long‑held dream, and a place filled with love. We’re grateful for every guest who chooses to stay and become part of its story.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it truly offers the best of Lake George living. The property is perfectly situated between Bolton Landing and Lake George Village, giving us the ideal balance of peaceful Adirondack charm and easy access to everything the area has to offer. It sits down a quiet, friendly street where neighbors look out for one another, creating a sense of community and comfort that immediately feels like home.

At the same time, we’re close enough to all the fun — restaurants, shops, scenic overlooks, hiking trails, winter activities, and the year‑round energy of both towns. It’s the kind of location where you can enjoy slow mornings in a calm, wooded setting and still be just minutes from the excitement, beauty, and adventure that make Lake George so special.

This neighborhood gives us the privacy we love, the convenience we need, and the Adirondack atmosphere we always dreamed of sharing with our guests.

What makes this property unique

Our property offers a combination of views, space, privacy, and location that is truly hard to find in the Lake George area. One of the most special features is the amazing, view of Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains, which you can enjoy from our beautiful porch. Whether it’s a quiet morning with coffee or a relaxing evening taking in the sunset, this porch is one of the places guests tell us they love most.

Inside, the home features four bedrooms, giving families, couples, and groups plenty of space to spread out and enjoy their stay. Outside, you’ll find a private firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs — perfect for stargazing, making s’mores, or unwinding after a day of exploring.

Another unique benefit is our access to a residents‑only private beach. This is a rare perk in Lake George and gives guests a peaceful, uncrowded place to enjoy the shoreline, take in the views, or simply relax by the water.

Combined with the home’s ideal location — perfectly situated between Bolton Landing and Lake George Village — guests get the best of both worlds: a quiet, welcoming neighborhood with friendly neighbors, plus quick access to restaurants, shops, scenic overlooks, hiking trails, and year‑round Adirondack activities.

These features together make our property a truly special place to stay, and we’re proud to share it with guests who want a memorable Lake George experience.
