Relaxing stay!

We were celebrating our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The home was beautiful and very accommodating.

The view from the deck was great. We sat out on the deck for coffee, wine and card playing

The Aveda products were a nice touch!

Great home base for visit to western NC

House is a great size and we loved the fireplace and deck. Kitchen can be challenging (low/high values are worn off the stove top knobs and the alloy frying pans are difficult to clean). Overall, great place for a large gathering.

A Breath of Fresh Air

Literally and figuratively, our stay was a breath of fresh air. We had four days of renewal and fellowship with our son and grandson in your upper unit. The mountain air, the beauty of Lake Junaluska, hikes and bike rides along with good food from local restaurants lifted our spirits. Thank you a wonderful stay.

Chapel bells

The chapel bells add to the character of this dated rental property. Location is the positive quality here. It sure could use some safer furniture that doesn’t collapse under you!

Mary, thank you for sharing your experience, we're pleased you enjoyed the character of our home and its location served you well! That said, we apologize for any issue you encountered with furniture and want you to know you could have reported this during your visit and our local team would have been happy to assist. We shared your comments with the local manager so they can assess the furniture and we appreciate your feedback as an opportunity to improve. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again.

Great location with a great view

This house had lots of room and was in a great location on the Lake Junaluska campus. The pictures for the upper didn't show the room with the two doubled but they were located downstairs with a full bathroom. The kitchen was good with everything we needed except the microwave didn't heat up. Would rent this one again.
Response from VrboOwner on 20 Jun, 2023
Thank you for your review, Matthew, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our local staff has informed us that the microwave has been reviewed and it working properly. We hope that this did not cause you to much of an inconvenience and we hope to host you again very soon!
