Nice house but with pitfalls
In general we had a nice stay. The house is big and spacious. The furnishing is tasteful and kept in a country house style. Every evening we enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay.
If we had questions or requests to the landlord, we always had an answer quickly. For example, the grill grate was missing, which we received after two days together with the coal. The very old dishwasher also ran out on the third day and the kitchen was flooded. The next day a caretaker came who had tried in vain to repair the dishwasher, so that it was then completely exchanged.
Unfortunately we had problems in one bathroom with a terrible smell coming from the shower drain. Unfortunately, this problem could not be resolved as it would require major renovations. Therefore we could not use this bathroom unfortunately. The stench was partly through the house, which was very unpleasant.
Unfortunately, we have not received any concessions from the landlord to date, despite this not inconsiderable restriction.
Other than that it was a lovely holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed.
