Year-Round Adventure at Your Doorstep One of the things that makes this location truly special is how much there is to do in every single season. You will never run out of ways to fill your days here.
Winter: Breckenridge Ski Resort is one of the most celebrated ski destinations in North America with over 2,900 acres of skiable terrain, 187 trails, and 34 lifts. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned expert, the mountain has something for every level. Beyond skiing and snowboarding, the area offers world-class snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowmobiling, and dog sledding experiences nearby.
Spring: As the snow melts and the valley comes alive, spring brings rushing rivers, early wildflowers, and a quieter side of Breckenridge that locals love. It is a wonderful time to explore at a slower pace, enjoy restaurant deals during shoulder season, and catch the mountain in a truly transitional and breathtaking state.
Summer: Summer in Blue River and Breckenridge is spectacular. The area transforms into a hiking and mountain biking paradise with hundreds of miles of trails ranging from easy valley walks to challenging 14er summits. The Blue River and nearby Tenmile Creek offer outstanding fly fishing, while Dillon Reservoir just up the road is perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing, and lakeside picnics. The Breckenridge Music Festival, outdoor farmers markets, and a packed calendar of summer events keep things lively from June through August.
Fall: Colorado's fall foliage season is legendary and Summit County sits at the heart of it. Typically peaking in late September and early October, the aspens surrounding Blue River turn brilliant shades of gold and orange that contrast dramatically against the dark green pines and blue Colorado sky. Fewer crowds, cooler temperatures, and stunning scenery make fall one of the most magical times to visit.
Guests have full access to the entire home, all 3,600 sq ft, including:
- Private hot tub - Covered deck with gas grill and mountain views - Game room with pool table - Full laundry room - All bedrooms and bathrooms - Multiple living and dining areas
Step inside and feel the mountain. From the moment you walk through the door, this home wraps you in the kind of warmth that only a true Colorado lodge can deliver. Soaring wood-plank ceilings, exposed log beam accents, a dramatic floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and rich leather sectionals create an atmosphere that feels both grand and deeply comfortable.
Spanning 3,600 sq ft across multiple levels, there is room for everyone to spread out, find their own corner, and still come together around the fire at the end of the day.
Living Areas The main living room is the heart of the home. Anchored by the stunning stone fireplace and warm wood ceiling, it comfortably seats your entire group with oversized leather sofas and recliners. Large windows frame the surrounding pine forest and let natural light pour in year-round. A live-edge wood coffee table and rustic cabinetry complete the lodge aesthetic. French doors lead directly to the covered deck, making indoor-outdoor living effortless. The lower level features a second expansive living space — equally warm and inviting — with its own seating area, wood ceiling, and direct access to the game room. Whether you use it as an overflow lounge, a kids hangout, or a quiet retreat from the main floor energy, this space gives your group the flexibility to do this vacation your way.
Game Room The dedicated game room is a serious crowd-pleaser. A full-size pool table takes center stage beneath a classic hanging light fixture, surrounded by ski resort posters and mountain-themed wall art that give the space real personality. With wood floors, a wood-paneled ceiling, and natural light from wood-trimmed windows, it feels like the coolest mountain rec room you have ever been in. Whether it is a rainy afternoon or a late night after dinner, this room delivers.
Bedrooms All four bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed with mountain lodge charm — warm wood trim, ceiling fans, cozy bedding, and that peaceful forest feeling just outside every window.
- Bedroom 1: King bed, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, forest views, warm wood decor with ski-inspired art - Bedroom 2: King bed, ceiling fan, large wood-trimmed window with tree views, sitting area with leather loveseat, connected to additional sleeping space — great for families Bedroom 3: King bed, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, dark wood furniture, framed mountain artwork Bedroom 4: Queen bed, lofted vaulted ceiling, cozy and private feel, moose and wildlife decor
Bathrooms Four bathrooms ensure your group is never waiting in line. Each one carries the same mountain lodge warmth found throughout the home.
Outdoor Space The covered deck off the main living area is one of the best features of this home. With a full outdoor dining set, a gas grill, and views of the surrounding forest and snow-capped peaks, it is the perfect spot for morning coffee, evening meals, and everything in between. The private hot tub sits just steps away — sheltered, steamy, and surrounded by mountain air. Whether there is snow on the ground or wildflowers in bloom, this outdoor setup delivers year-round.
