About this property

Walk to Downtown Beaufort | 4BR Coastal Cottage

Summary:

Park the car and explore Beaufort on foot.

This charming 4-bedroom coastal cottage puts you in a quiet residential neighborhood just about a 10-minute walk from Beaufort’s historic waterfront, Front Street, restaurants, shops, museums, and the boardwalk along Taylor’s Creek.

With room for up to 8 guests, two full bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and bedrooms on both floors, it’s an easy home base for family trips, friends’ weekends, fishing getaways, and Crystal Coast adventures.

The Space:

The home sleeps up to 8 guests in four queen bedrooms, giving everyone an actual bedroom rather than relying on sleeper sofas or shared spaces.

Main floor

Primary queen bedroom with private ensuite bathroom

Second queen bedroom

Two full bathrooms with walk-in showers

Spacious living and dining areas

Fully equipped kitchen

Washer and dryer

Upstairs

Two additional queen bedrooms

A Kitchen Made for Groups!

Whether you’re cooking the day’s catch or just trying to keep eight people caffeinated, the kitchen is ready for it.

You’ll have:

Two refrigerator/freezers

Stove

Dishwasher

Convection oven/microwave

Drip coffee maker

Keurig

Dining space for 6–8

Yes, two refrigerators. Because vacation groceries somehow multiply.

Historic-home note: The upstairs ceilings are lower than standard modern ceilings. We like to mention it upfront so taller guests know what to expect.

Guest Access:

Guests will enter through the front door using the keypad for the smart lock. Street parking is available directly outside the home with additional parking near the side (kitchen) entry.

The Neighborhood:

One of the best parts of this home is how easy it is to enjoy Beaufort without spending the entire trip getting in and out of the car.

From the cottage, you’re about a 10-minute walk to the Beaufort Historic Site and waterfront, putting Front Street and downtown Beaufort within easy reach.

Spend the day:

Walking the waterfront and Taylor’s Creek

Browsing Front Street shops and galleries

Visiting the North Carolina Maritime Museum

Grabbing coffee, cocktails, or fresh seafood downtown

Catching a ferry to Shackleford Banks

Fishing or boating along the Crystal Coast

Taking a day trip to Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, or Cape Lookout

Then head back to a quieter residential neighborhood when you’re ready to call it a night.

Whether Beaufort is the destination or your launching point for exploring the Crystal Coast, this cottage gives your group something that’s hard to beat: space to spread out and a location that lets you actually walk into town.

Getting Around:

Nearby favorites include:

• Front Street waterfront — approx. 5 minutes

• Beaufort Historic Site & Maritime Museum

• Ferry access to Cape Lookout & Shackleford Banks

• Local seafood restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques

• Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, and Fort Macon
